    When Flowers Foods bought them, the sent it to the east. They bought DKB because they wanted to expand westward. That way they have a foothold.

    All that talk of chinese food @Star Dude has made me do an asian week in my diet lol...

    First did a version of gombao with cream and spinach noodles

    Then my daughter bd came and we went out for sushi-lunch that started with a nice veggie tempura

    For her school celebration...i decided to go all healthy so i prepared a fruit platter instead of classic salty/sugary snacks that all of her friends do:

    Apparently it was a hit and kids love healty snacks cuz she returned only this!!!

    You truly are the @Ruralfarmboy ! All that cast iron and that old-school coffee pot. Really does remind me of my grandpa's place (this is an awesomely good thing, btw). Only thing missing is a can of bacon lard next to the stove lol. Now I need me some biscuits and gravy.

    Yep. How I make my coffee's easy... fill the coffee pot two-thirds full'a Cold water,
    take a filter an' six tablespoons ground coffee, fold it up, tie it off, put it in the pot.
    Boil.
    Coffee.
