One thing I still find a bit confusing is that GL has said the Sith and their usage of the darkside were responsible for causing the imbalance in the Force. However, the Mortis arc suggests that balance lies in neither the lightside or darkside exceeding one another. I suppose it could mean that while both exist, overusing the darkside to bend the Will of the Force causes an unnatural imbalance. Then again this is GL. I love him for creating our beloved SW, but saying he's no stranger to backtracking would be an understatement.

I don't view it as the dark side as much as I view it as the Sith philosophy. Technically a Sith can use the light side and bend and twist it in his effort to survive thinking perhaps only he can save the galaxy.

I'm almost certain the KoR are older than 30 years old, but that's a discussion for another time. I do think they arose around the same time as the Sith and the Jedi but I'm unsure whether or not they created the prophecy or were borne from it.

Man what I would give to be a part of the LFL Story Group

This would also be the biggest middle finger they could possibly give to the prequels. Yeah, you're prophecy was a lie!

Very true. Further proof that that's not what's going to happen.

The prophecy is a thing that happened, and Lucasfilm is not going to throw half of their Star Wars movies under the bus. But the prophecy story is finished. It concluded in ROTJ. I really think that the Knights of Ren begin a new story about the conflict between the light and dark sides of the Force. The prophecy won't be mentioned.

Yeah bro ... I think a lot of us would gladly change careers for that opportunity.
