SPECULATION The Knights Of Ren - Do they still exist ??

Nothing is confirmed about the ruse that is all speculation from MSW nothing more.

 

Guys, I'm just saying the same people that leaked the leak now are saying perhaps it was a ruse.
If they doubt, I do too.
Of course, we all have to wait and see.

Adam was there the days the filmed on Malin Head (13-15 may 2016).

about the KOR, weird.

If you look carefully, this is were they filmed the scene of Rey running on the beach.
Rey, on the beach. Not Luke or the KOR.
And if you look carefully, she's holding a black cape.
A robe that she used to cover her outfit.
In addition, that's the resistance outfit.

I just think it may had been really easy to take the wrong conclusions.

And about the tree....

My take is that it is already burned and from a long, long, time...
It looks burned when Rey gets there.
I think, we will see the past of the island.
When the Tree got burned, and the jedi leave it.
Speculation, of course.

But again, we shall see...

 

Yes they could have said the same thing the minute they posted the leak but they did not.

and when a leak and a article about the same thing is posted and fits togheter, where one of those scenes was seen by the press it all atarts to come togheter nicely. The MSW leak was just unofficially confirmed by some of those people from the press who saw that scene. Nobody can deny that the chances of that scene actually happening in the movie is bigger than it not happening. The only thing that doesn't fit with the MSW leak is

fits. So once more it has a bigger chance of happening (going by leaks and articles) than not happening (going by nothing than speculation.)

 

Force-back or was it a FORCE-FORWARD? That aside, I swear I read somewhere earlier in the year that Rian flat-out denied that those Knights of Ren are in the movie- unless I dreamed it.

 

We re going to see them in TLJ. They show a flashback with Luke regarding what i hope is the jedi academy. I dont think they are wannabes. I think they each have the skillset of jedis. i think their weapons of choice will reflect some type of ancient old republic kyber crystal weapon. I think the Knights of Ren came from a the journal of the whills and Luke had establish a good academy before it went down. maybe there are others that Luke told to leave and hide from Snoke and Kylo, which one of them was Rey. I feel like they all share the last name of Ren. just waiting to figure out who they are and what their purpose is SW. there is a reason cause Kylo is solo dolo now and I do feel that Snoke sent them to search for the other remaining Padawans and Luke and Rey...

Ach-To (god that name is awful.... ). Rey definitely goes to Crait and makes it to Snokes throne room. Luke will be with her. I don’t see any narrative reason Finn and Poe have to go to where Luke is (I hate that planet name really. Awful. Yes it’s where Act II takes place. You’re soooooo clever JJ. BARF.). Luke has a way off, thanks to the MF. Finn & Poe have enough story pre Crait. They don’t need a reason to have to go to....the water planet. Kylo needs to find Luke & Rey there with only the MF & chewie. R2 might have Luke’s lightsaber again but I doubt it.

The batttle between the FO and the Resistance takes place in Act III and that’s where all our heroes meet up again, a little like that arena in AOTC.

looks like they put together and compare the MSW "leak", other 4chan supposed leaks and the article from Holliwood Reporter.
The first version of the latter that was updated few hours later it first appeared just because people have noticed

I’d have more confidence in E9 if you were writing the script. So much good stuff in this post. I like how you see the narrative threads potentially being used in several different ways.

 

Have we seen the Knights of Ren in any promo material at all? I don't remember seeing them. I know a lot of people have been expecting them to show up in this film, but they haven't yet.

Could they be related to one of the "big reveals" that Johnson says fans haven't guessed yet?

 

It's possible. It is kind of strange how they have completely disappeared. My vote for a potential big reveal that we aren't expecting might be something related to Lor San Tekka. It's just strange to me that Max Van Sydow would play such a bit role that isn't expanded on later in the movie. Anyone could have played that character, unless Max was just a Star Wars fan and wanted to be in the movie in any role, I think something related to him might be my dark horse for unexpected reveal

 

Yeah, I always thought it was weird that they got someone as high profile to play LST when he died almost immediately (not to mention a lot of potential with the character's backstory).

 

I want to see the KOR in TLJ, but maybe they aren't alive anymore or they become something completely new. But I expect them to show up in a flashback scene of Luke's burning Jedi academy.
