    Hey guys,

    Is it possible that the "it's time for the jedi to end" could just be part of a whole other sentence? The same way that scenes in a trailer are usually a small of part of the actual scene. Just a thought.

    It could also be Luke being less humorous than Yoda in his frustrating his student to get a taste of who they are.

    It could also be the funk he has been in since losing all the students. In the stories of Merlin after a great tragedy he lives as a hermit for many years before returning to his life as wizard and advisor to Arthur. Luke could be in a despair hole and Rey interrupts it and at first he is against the whole idea.

    What if Luke is paraphrasing what Ben said to him before the massacre. It's a long shot, but maybe it is taken out of context. Luke to Ray "the last thing he said to me was... 'It's time for the Jedi... To end.'"

    Did you do the folie for this yourself, or did you just 'subtract' the music from the soundtrack? I didn't notice much folie in the trailer, but I guess this could just be because of the dominance of the music...

    What I think is going on, in the beginning of the movie, Luke is still done with it all and that is when he says "I only know one truth, it's time for the Jedi to end", and refuses to train Rey, and it's up to Rey to bring the light back in Luke and bring the old optimistic Luke back she breaks through to him and that is when the training starts

    If his theory relies in anyway on the belief that Han committed suicide, everything that he says from that point forward loses credibility to me. Like most of us, I have watched the movie repeatedly (just out of fandom) and if there is one thing that seemed pretty clear to me, it was that Kylo kills Han, Han does not commit suicide.

    Yeah but I think he referenced it as part of the theory he was discussing there (I could be mistaken but I thought that's why he brought it up). If he wasn't using the Han theory as support for this one, then I recant my criticism.
