BUT, no one could talk about it, because even though, THAT'S publishing, if you say, "oh we leaked our story but we can't tell you what it is" they disallowed it from zillions of star wars fan pages, leading up to this movie,
millions of people knew Rey was Ara, but they weren't allowed to speak even rumours? Not even speculations were allowed, people took control and said, anything fan fiction, we'll declare leaks.

anyway but like, they own the universe?
so you can't design a character in it? well no, he did, and he doesn't work for money, and that's, the complete setup for their movie, published online ahead of time

@Stormagadon Well that's okay, what you're talking about is whether he can vie that he has sovereign rights to sell the story. If I wrote a play, it's copywrited when it's publically performed, but it's hard to register that if you don't have money flowing through it?

But he made a story set in the Star Wars universe using Star Wars characters. He's not the rights holder for Star Wars.
