I don't feel like enough love has been given to the Ugnaughts in this episode. I thought that was a fun little bit of Star Wars that also had a touching callback to Kuiil and S1. It also shows a very good trait in Din, that he picked up on how to communicate with and show respect to an often subjugated group. Very much like he was with the Tuskens on Tattooine. He's a fair and empathetic man who sees the value in relating to those that others may look down on. I love the idea that Kuiil could have been known by some of these guys, even related to some. Or maybe it's a sign of respect that an Ugnaught would give their name to an outsider, so when he mentioned Kuiil, that indicated that Din truly was a friend. I kept waiting for Din to ask them for an IG memory circuit.

I think the cloning plot may have more than one branch. We know Palpatine was obsessed with cloning for his own personal issues, but also he seemed to have other ideas for cloning as is being hinted in The Bad Batch. Also, at this point, I'd say that a very select few, if anyone, knows he is still in play.

I think it's possible that there are more than one faction of Imperial Remnant that are looking at potential uses for the cloning program, and I also think that Gideon is trying to find a way to basically transfuse himself with concentrated "M-count" blood to make himself Force-Sensitive. That's why he wanted Grogu.

Been off the forum for a minute, as this year has been hell. Teaching a newish class, running the dept., had a death in the family (mom) and a ton of other real world stuff to deal with.

What is up with the hate for this episode? I didn't care for Lizzo or Jack Black's characters, but whatever. They were in the show for what, all of 3 minutes? It did feel like a bit of a "side quest" but it was still enjoyable. At least for me. I liked seeing the interaction between Din and Bo. I've really come to love Bo as a character. And I'm looking forward to the finale. That should be awesome.

Anyway, hopefully I can comment more on here as the year seems to be finally under control (probably cause it's almost over lol).

Din seem to be Grogu babysitter/Caretaker, always the one get his ass kicked and always one being saved and seem to weak. Now He give Bo the blacksaber, cos she beat a guy who own it that also beaten Din.

Din know how to talk to aliens without trouble as Bo have trouble.

Surprice to see Jack Black and Christopher Lloyd, but don't know about Lizzo. And Grogu have been knighted.

I really enjoyed this episode, Yes the cameos were a bit jarring at first, but it also took a minute not to see Gus Fring when Mof Gideon was on screen.

The meat of the episode was good! I'm enjoying seeing Bo and Din start to work together. They've started to highlight their character differences and lay the seeds for them to learn from one another. Part of me feels like there could be a romantic angle forming, but as I don't see how it would move the plot along I hope they avoid it. Or at most keep it light without taking an annoying amount of screen time away from the main story.

The only complaint I had with the dark saber handoff was that it didn't happen sooner between Din and Bo. Narratively I see the purpose of saving it for in front of the group but to me, it felt too scripted at the moment.

Great battle between Bo and Axe though! I've been so impressed with the Mandalorian combat all season, above all else that has been my highlight of season 3.

I'm excited to see how they close this season out. Although it feels like they haven't built up a full season arc to wrap up this season, I trust Filoni and Favreau completely to deliver a complete and fulfilling story when it's all been released.

I believe our friend deserves more recognition for his research than a mere "like" can ever convey.

Therefore, on behalf of my fellow Mandalorian fanboy and fangirl nerds, I proudly award @MBWilson the covented KING OF THE NERDS Special Achievement Award. Well Done! (yoda)

    That's brilliant!

I once went through Rogue One with a fine tooth comb...just to try and catch a glimpse of a character I thought looked amazing, but appeared to be cut from the film lol. I saw him in the Visual Dictionary but couldn't find him in the film. Not only did I find him in several scenes, but also found that he had been repurposed.

    I can sleep now.
