    Like everyone else, who have found interest in the latest trailer, and are purchasing the entire Matrix trilogy which is not currently (#2 on iTunes sales chart) on sale, I have to watch the entire trilogy all over again before I see this film. Epic trailer to say the least...

    Who will win the box office this winter Dune or the Matix?

    After watching, trailer breakdowns & diagnosis, I will not watch anymore trailers for this film from now on... sometimes trailers especially the final trailer revel too much and my exceptions for the film at large are way too high, so that's it, I will not watch anymore trailers for the Matrix 4 in order to enjoy this film going forward.

    I usually only watch the first 2 trailers and not the final trailer. The marketing teams on films want you to go out and see this film, so they'll also include spoilers and the heart of the action scenes, so the film is left with the exposition, which allot people consider the boring parts.

    For example, the Black Widow film is a good movie, but the trailers revealed too much, and only left the quiet moments, so allot of people consider Black Widow underwhelming and its a good MCU film for me, the trailer ruined the movie IMHO.

    I'm torn on this one. On the one hand I like the concept, but on the other hand it looks kinda bad. Especially John- I mean Neo and Trinity look off. The heads are too big and both don't have these thin bodies anymore.

    I appreciate the different style though. These days posters look too similar when compared with each other.

    Hmm. Not seeing Neo's head as too big imo.
    If Trinity we're any smaller in that shot she'd appear borderline anorexic.
    Morpheus is definitely going disco. Pastels. I HATE pastels. It's the main reason I hate the Dune poster.
    Overall I like it.

    My dude, I figured you'd post this today and you did not disappoint :)

    It's a weird one isn't it... it's a like a Matrix movie poster, but not at the same time.

    I'm digging the Stranger Things/Upside Down element of the the Matrix/world we know below and the white light of the space between the realities above. There's the two new protagonists (who I'll guess will shortly inherit the franchise along with neu Morpheus), Trinity looking like she's barely aged in 22yrs ...and John 'The One' Wick :D

    I'll wait before passing any other judgement, but can't help but think that (Blade Runner 2049 aside) belated sequels have rarely come anywhere close to their origins and as much as I want to be committed to this, I just can't be sure. Yet.

    Yep. "I know EXACTLY what you mean". :D One early screener described it as weird. From the trailer it's very noticeable that another dimension - matrix movie in a matrix movie - is now a part of the framework and that IS weird. Deep down I want to commit to it as well and honestly a part of me already has because, well, it's the matrix. It's also the matrix with one of the same directors. Yes. Definitely a dangerous game I'm playing.

    Everyone is talking about the whole Neo/John Wick thing which IMO is to be expected. I mean, where's the difference in appearance? At the same time I'm kind of digging it though. I know for a fact Lana W. knew there would be some flack over it and she took the chance anyway which is commendable. You know it's strange. For some reason I just can't see Neo any other way right now. Perhaps it's because of seeing him as JW for years now or the fact that every time I see KR these days he's sporting the beard and long hair. It could be a plot point in the film as well but who knows at this point.

    Here's "the other" official poster that hasn't been as widely publicized. I'm digging this one a lot more. Like the tag line in the poster, the poster itself seems as more of a return to the source. In this case the style of the trilogy. I love the steps going down. As if to say this is gonna get deep.

    So essentially it looks like we're getting at old Neo and old Trinity (both somehow resurrected), going back into an early doors Matrix, populated with young Morpheus, young Oracle and young Smith... but with the addition of adult Doogie Howser!?!? :confused::D
