    On Page 160 of Ultimate Star Wars is a quote from the Plagueis Novel:

    " Hego Damask: Theed is a beautiful city.

    Palpatine: If you like museums."

    Seems like the Plagueis Novel is canon...!!!!

    If you watch the ones with Asajj Ventress and/or Savage Opress/Darth Maul in them, you should be good. I'm color coding them. Green are episodes she appears in but aren't essential to her story, Red are episodes that tie into story arcs where she is involved (though I'd recommend watching them if you've got the time, as it helps develop other characters involved with her story), and Blue are essential to understanding her story arc. Keep in mind that these are in chronological order, not release order.

    • The Hidden Enemy
    • Star Wars: The Clone Wars Movie
    • Clone Cadets
    • Ambush
    • Rookies
    • Cloak Of Darkness
    • ARC Troopers
    • Nightsisters
    • Monster
    • Witches Of The Mist
    • Massacre
    • Bounty
    • Brothers
    • Revenge
    • Sabotage
    • The Jedi Who Knew Too Much
    • To Catch A Jedi
    • The Wrong Jedi

    So in short, the Green stuff accounts for four episodes and a feature-length movie, the Red stuff accounts for five episodes, and the Blue stuff accounts for eight episodes. I do recommend you watch all of it (a feature-length movie and seventeen episodes) if you can.

    I should note that while she's barely in "Brothers" and she's not in "Sabotage" or "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much", those leads directly into the episodes she is in, so I would recommend watching it (the "abridged" route is eleven episodes). But you're really doing yourself a disservice if you don't watch the whole show. It's all on Netflix, ready for easy binge-watching!
