SPECULATION The outcome of Kylo Ren vs Rey

Everyone dies and comes back as force ghosts and it was all a dream dreamt by Rey whil watching that ship take off from Jakku .

 

1. Jedi Knight Luke > Sith Master Vader > Raw Jedi Luke
2. Raw Jedi Rey > Scavenger Rey > Farmboy Luke

Put 1 and 2 together according to your opinion and include Kylo.

 

You're like me...I prefer RAW/ORGANIC over processed (Jar Jar).

 

Rey is defeated and possibly injured but lives on.. Then when Kylo is about to deliver the final strike to kill Rey, Luke appears and save her.
This is what I believe will happen, and if it doesnt happen like that I will not be disappointed.

My guess is that Rey and Finn will lose, Finn injured and Rey defeated, Kylo let them live with the disgrace.

(why I don't know, maybe they are relatives or Chewie arrives with the Falcon and Kylo cowardly retreats)
The best visual outcome would be if Luke shows up and disfigures Kylo.
"In the next movie Kylo Ren would seek revenge for the humiliation"
"VIII" could be a homage to the empire strikes back. (a driven Kylo Ren who hunts the heroes)

 

My two credits:
Kylo kills Han; Rey and Finn get separated from Chewie while escaping, run into the forest; Kylo follows them, maybe angered by an injury, his base being destroyed, or he just wants to capture/recapture Rey and/or Finn; Finn, angered and overall emotional, decides to stand up to Kylo; they fight for maybe a minute or two, could be longer but I hope it's not less (I'm right there with anyone who does not want Finn to be a complete pushover and get his arm sliced off after ten seconds); Kylo cuts off Finn's arm; preparing to kill Finn, Rey, hopefully and somehow, force pulls the lightsaber and ignites it; she, too, fights Kylo for a few minutes, catching Kylo completely off guard; as the fight starts to turn back against Rey, something happens that forces both parties to disengage and lick their wounds; Finn gets a nifty robot arm, later on, and Rey quickly goes off to meet her father/uncle while Finn recovers.

Remember, Rey does have "training" with her staff, and I think they will probably just claim that she is "naturally in tune with the force." What I am most interested in now is how the lightsaber duels will turn out in Episodes VIII and IX. Like I have said before, though, just imagine how freakin awesome this scene/battle is going to be in the theater. Makes me go crazy just thinking about it

Also, there's not going to be any Luke..yet. I am confident we will see him throw down in 8 or 9, but not in 7.

 

Finn will tell Rey to run. Kylo will wound him after a short battle. Rey starts off to run, but realizes Finn doesn't have much of a chance and after he risked his life to save her, she repays the debt. Everyone seems to think Rey will use the force to grab the saber and maybe, but I think Kylo WANTS to fight Rey. He stands over Finn as he's dying and turns to Rey, and throws her the lightsaber as if to say, bring it on.

 

I like the idea.

My guess is that Luke will not show up in the fight scene.
I can't imagine, Kylo Ren fighting three people in a row. (first Finn, second Rey and third Luke, would be over the top)
Sure I would like it, if Luke shows up to save the day, but I can't see it happen right now.
Maybe a missed oportunity, I guess we will not see a green lightsaber in TFA at all.
The soundtrack list bursted my bubble, so to speak.

Agreed. Also, I think the reason he wants to fight Rey now instead of when he captures her is that he has found out some information from interrogating her or trying to interrogate her. Possibly going off the quote that Adam Driver gave about Kylo Ren about not being loved enough. Possibly she was favored over him when they were younger by Luke because Rey is his daughter and Kylo is his nephew. Or he refused to train him because he saw the dark side in him, but decided to train Rey and that leads to the jealousy/anger/hatred that he has towards her and possibly Luke when he finds out who she is.

Definitely. I could easily see the trailers and rumors being at least somewhat misleading to the point where half the movie we are surprised at what direction they took. Not long before we will know!

 

I have joked and even predicted several times in the past, that Rey would turn to the Dark side. Do I think at this point, that she turns? No. But having said that, make no mistake, it is fear, and then anger, that leads to her reaching out to the Force, and compelling her to engage Kylo. I believe she is more powerful than him, and she, like her father before her, can flirt with the dark side long enough to defeat her opponent...I have almost talked myself into her turning again.

Luke does not appear until the very end of the film at the Skellig Michael location when Rey walks up the "Jedi steps" with his lightsaber,

just as described by MSW and MF's shooting schedule, and implied by the soundtrack and the Rey action figure.

 

I'll tell you what the outcome will be.

Near the end, Luke shows up from nowhere and says: "I am your father ...To both of you."

 

Kylo let's her live because the

**** Jar Jar!!

 

...because he frelligs Jar Jar ..?

 

While #Lukeouttanowhere is the only way I can imagine the (presumably-going off what we know) untrained Rey and Finn getting away alive, I don't think it'd make narrative sense for him to be a prisoner on Starkiller. In addition, Luke saving the day as an ex machina dampens the narrative arc of Rey because it prevents her from proving herself.
I felt very much the same about Daredevil potentially appearing in the Jessica Jones finale to help stop Kilgrave (David Tennant was brilliant btw)-while it would've been cool, JJ needed to prove herself without getting outside help (DD would have undercut that).

 

The ground will start to crack under Kylo, Finn and Rey? Finn and Rey will escape in the Falcon and Kylo's fate will be uncertain.
