    As an action flick, it was pretty good. As a Star Wars movie it was pretty poor. This is a Marvel version of Star Wars.

    I think this story muddles a lot of year of establish cannon. They really pay no homage to the true characters of Luke, Leia and Han. Their attempts to muddy the waters between good and evil, is what is destroying the Star Wars narrative.

    This IS the thread I’ve been looking for!

    Seriously, I’ve felt this way about TLJ from the start. For most, my guess is it is neither the hyperbolic “masterpiece” or the utter disaster that either ends of our spectrum of fandom claims it to be, but just another good, fun addition to the SW universe.
