SPOILER Virtually the whole movie is spoiled at this point?

I think we know a couple things... expect a couple things... want a couple things... and don't know a whole bunch of things. I think we know some things that we just don't know how to fit in, and some of the things that are fit in are totally wrong, which prevents us from seeing how other parts would fit in...

I think there is a lot of hype & misinformation out there now.
I highly doubt any of the recent TFA leaks are true or even realistic.

I think many Star Wars fans and forum members need to step back and take a breath.
Knowing the ENTIRE plot or outcome at this point would be counter productive.
That said, I doubt Luke is only in the LAST 5min as some noted. Han may be killed off but I think that leak might be misinformation or wrong.
I still think Leia will be in charge of the Republic, Han will be a commanding general or recently retired, Luke will either be in exile or being held captive, there will be a HUGE time jump(10/20/25 years). Ren will be seriously wounded and may be restored as a "new" Darth Vader.

 

Nothing is spoiled as long as the soundtrack remains a surprise. Come on Mr Williams, take me back to childhood....

Just like a lot of you, I grew up when the prequels were being made. That was one of the first times I can remember seeing so many potential spoilers for a film. Granted, there were people like SuperShadow who were just making stuff up to get their jollies. And Lucas was way less protective of plot and characters. But what I'm trying to say is that this kind of spoilerific environment shaped my personal Star Wars fandom. I've not let myself be disappointed by spoilers ever. I even read the novelizations once or twice before the PT movies hit the theater. For me, following the rumors and potential spoilers, true and false, is just a personal game to keep myself occupied till the movie finally gets here. No need to freak out. Just avoid it or take it all in stride.

 

Of course we don't know everything. But given how these things tend to work I believe we may already have enough to, with some speculation and guessing to fill in the holes, string it all together in a way that basically covers the whole film. Emphasis on we 'may.'

And I've had it. Not long now before a lot of the designs (ships, locations and such) are going to be leaked. I'm leaving this, and some of the other SW sites out there and will try to stay away from spoilers from now on in an attempt to keep the film as fresh as possible. I love chatting with all of you. You bunch of beautiful geeks, but I'm putting myself on a diet of official comics and teasers/trailers.

I think MSW's leak today helps show exactly how little we know, it's only one scene but it's almost entirely independent of everything we currently know. It has connections to things we know (King's scene) and we can somewhat place it in the story but it serves to highlight what little we actually know

 

I agree so many of our theories seem to have nothing to do with this material that is said to be likely accurate. Is it accurate though? I cant help but be somewhat skeptical.

Remember too; this is a FEATURE FILM, . Re-shoots, edits, unused scenes etc are common.
Even for huge budget action/Sci-Fi films.
Look at the recents high profile flops; Ender's Game, Jupiter Ascending, Oblivion, and one of the worst; Disney's John Carter.

John Carter ended a few Walt Disney execs careers and got them fired.
I'm 100% sure JJ/Bad Robot, Lucasfilm, Disney & Kasdan are treading lightly.

 

I would love it if all the spoilers were wrong and the complete opposite of what we expect by the time we watch it in theaters. That would be genius. Not that I mind some of the spoilers so far.

In any case, I think we're way off the whole movie being spoiled at this point.

 

I am firmly in the "we know very little" camp. MSW apparently has call sheets, and if those are accurate and he continues to reveal details, then we may know more soon. But those call sheets seem to blatantly contradict many of the rumors which I thought were the most solid, including some listed by the OP.

They also seem to possibly contradict some information given by a person posting online who correctly predicted some details confirmed in the trailer two months before (i.e. jimjamjim on theforce.net who predicted the cross guard and a sith in the snowy forest, and claimed that Kylo (Driver) captures Rey after the fight, and that Rey is a Solo).
