Gives you an excuse to rewatch it then!

I liked em, because I found the plotline for those episodes to be intriging and I liked getting some more development for Anakin.

i didn't hate her character, but i definitely feel like she was unnecessary. sorry, KMT!

i feel like if it had been Finn and Poe in Canto Bight, that would have helped make that whole diversion more interesting and could have easily tightened up the pacing and bumped both those characters to a better place in terms of development. and it would have been great for Poe to save Finn at the end to balance the scales for having gotten Paige killed at the beginning.

    WoW !
Am I Late or What ?!?!

    :( I am late.
    ... so Late ...

...anyways, so @FN-3263827 asks, "What I Think About Star Wars" .
    Right.
    To me ?
It has been my Safe Place.
    For Many years now.
I Do not live, just now, like most folk do (read my profile) But I DO keep my Love and Interest in/with Star Wars.
    Every Day.
I have little to NO interest in what goes on in the "modern day" ... 'world'.
I'm Sure Ya seen me 'say' this here before.

Star Wars is what I grew up with.
For Forty Years an' Goin' On ...

So, What I think about it ...
...someone told me a Story (theirs, Not Mine) ..
I fell in Love with it and it took me away.
    Been there ever since.

I voted "Most Things" coz .. again, if ya seen me post other places - I have Little like of the now 'Legends" stuffs (differ'nt Story).

I treat All Stories (films, novels, tv, etc) as Stories Told To Me.
    I don't write 'em, I don't own 'em, I don't make 'em ... I am Told 'em.
I see it as Told To Me, Not for me to Say What is Who or Who Is Where Nor When.
    This is Me.
I Love It All, ... yep,... Temiri Blagg and All.

My Humble Grateful Thanks for puttin' up with readin' all this.

First exposure to SW was the Ewok movie. When you're 4 years old it's a pretty awesome movie. Then graduated to ROTJ, then Star Wars, ESB. When I had the money I would get the figures from yard sales and thrift stores. Then POTF2 was released in the early 90s, so I began collecting them.
I've never been real into the Expanded Universe. As a kid I had my own EU in my head. So the decision to whipe it out made sense to me.
The prequels came out when I was 13 or so, so I was at that age when I realized I might be too old for Star Wars, so I became a casual fan during that time.
Just before Disney acquired SW I started getting back into it. Watching the movies on a regular basis and building SW model kits and dioramas ect.
I love the sequel trill, but I'm not IN love with it. I really like Rogue one, and I think I'll like SOLO just as much. The new EU is alright. Rebels was pretty cool most of the time.

I don't hate broom boy, but everything about Canto Bight is basically only thing I disliked about TLJ. It felt tacked on. I don't understand it. If it was introduced in TFA then it would have made more sense.

Well, he was mysterious and somewhat interesting. I think the fact he plays both sides is what makes him to be a character we should see again. If he survived that is.

Lol. I think so. I have a friend who's daughter claimed she was too old for Star Wars, but then she watched TLJ and admitted she really liked it.

Episode 1 was clearly geared towards a younger crowd, but then as the rest of the trillogy came out it geared towards an older audience .

i'd like to see him again! i'm curious about his comic book appearance.
of all the new characters, i thought he was the most interesting.
seems like he would have survived. he probably had enough time to skedaddle while they were setting up to execute Finn and Rose.

Also i believe his character put on such an act and was a good trickster. The way he spoke, etc...but when he was there when they were about to be executed he was quite different. You could see he really enjoyed doing what he did.

How can you be too old for Star Wars?????
    --- Double Post Merged, Mar 1, 2018 ---
I liked Canto Bight. I know people hate it, but all those weird people, and I got what it meant for the story. I liked it. There was more scenes, I'm glad they didn't add them, but it made it very Star Wars like, and showed a diverse galaxy of not just humans in space.

Lol. I think it's just a phase some teenagers go through. They claim be too old, to seem more mature and refined, but when the next movie releases they're giddy again.

I liked it too. It showed the people behind the wars. The war profiteers, the aristocracy of the galaxy. You mainly only see the dark underground, the poor.

@Finn_McCool Yes, absolutely!! I have 2 teens here, sometimes they try to "play it cool" and say they are not into SW.....then we get in the theater for R1, for example, and they are screaming like schoolgirls when Red and Gold leader show up!!!!

i do like the costumes, though i think some of the aliens were a little silly. like that headless woman (what the heck)? and the weird opera lady.
even weirder is the description of her in the book ~ how she's looking for someone to hatch her eggs something. : o O

i do like the master codebreaker and how suave he is--and then completely pointless ~ hahahaha

I completely agree. It's weird because it feels so completely new for Star Wars, but at the same time... it fits and it's SO STAR WARS. I see the argument for how some of the events detract us from the main story, and it does... like I really don't think you can deny that but at the same time it adds so much to Rose's character (and while we're on the subject... the hate that Rose gets is so so unwarranted) and it also strengthens the relationship she and Finn have which prior to that point had been very rocky, and that's putting it mildly.

And of course... we also get introduced to DJ who I love. He has some of the best one liners in the entire film.

I watch the films, i listen to the soundtracks, i buy "art of"-books and watch every bts-video available.
I'm not interested in comics, animated series (sorry, rebels) or toys.

I mostly find myself sticking to the films too. I read some of the books, and for the most part enjoy them. I've seen maybe 5 episodes of TCW, and 0 of Rebels, tho I will be catching up on that once everything is released on Blu-Ray. I wish I had the time (and money!) for all of the other content, comic books and stuff. I love all of the various media, but the films will always be the heart and soul of Star Wars to me.
