    I'm not going to hate on Jake Lloyd too much since he was a little kid when he made that movie, but if you go back and watch the casting of the kids. There was a kid who would have been the perfect anakin and in the test shots was a much better actor. Everyone in the casting wanted him until GL vetoed and convinced everyone Jake was the better choice.

    I was saying that since I first watched the extras from the first released of TPM in DVD and that was in 1999!!!! Is the first time that someone agree with me about that issue. The other boy was brillant and he looks a lot with Luke Skywalker!! Was a pittty that GL picked Jake.

    It still pisses me off that they passed on Paul Walker as Anakin. Since they were set on a tall, handsome blonde guy, I think he would have been great.

    Yup. That kid resembled Luke so much. From the clips I've seen I would have easily chosen him. listening to them talk about who they would choose after GL left the room is just amazing. it seemed as if only one person had the guts to say that they felt like the other kid was better.
