SPECULATION What really happened during the Cloud City Duel?

While I'd like to believe that Bespin is indeed a gas planet, there must be something there to produce the oxygen high above in Cloud City.

Remember: In the old Marvel Comics Bespin was a solid planet on which the Ugnaughts lived. In one of the Rebels documentaries you can see Dave Filoni sit in front of a wall plastered with covers of these old Marvel Comics, so I think we'll see a lot of ideas and concepts to have a comeback (and hopefully anti-gravitational tibanna gas becomes again the galaxy wide alternative to repulsorlifts).

Therefore, probability is high that Anakin's lightsaber fell on the planet until it was discovered by someone there.

 

My guess is that the saber felt into one of the vents and been found back later by a cleaner/worker.. and this is SW so yeah.. plenty of believable options.. even solid ground gas planet we even might get a mini flashback action of its "life after luke".. my very strong idea about the whole light saber quest right now is that some force users can use Psychometry ( reading into one object's past ) ant that the saber is the key to find Luke's hidding place. that is why they are all running after it.

Like the Jedi Quinlan Vos in CW, he has powers very similar to the one you described. I think you might have solved how Maz Kanata is able to present the 'flashback.' By touching the saber she'll see everything that has occurred in the "lifetime" of the object. This still doesn't explain how we'll see the raid on the Jedi academy, but perhaps when the lightsaber changed hands through the years it somehow ended up back in the possession of Luke.
If Snailmaster's theory is correct, then the lightsaber will be present for every scene of the flashback sequence. The how's and why's are what still remain to be seen.

 

I remember those Marvel stories when i was a very little kid, the return of Lando to an empty Cloud City, fightinng Lobot just before they colapsed on Bespin Surface to met the Ugnaughts. That story was really good.
