    I think it's interesting, we can go by the reaction of both at the end of TFA, there was no reaction of family familiarity, I hope Rey's parents mystery will be revealed in episode 8 & that Luke knew them.

    From the sounds of it, the source has been pretty accurate so far. If it's true, I'll be a little disappointed. But if they handle it well, and make her origin interesting (i.e., she's not just a rando), I'll get over it.

    It was in a post on the main site a couple days ago. Apparently, a source with some credibility is reporting that according to the VIII script, Luke is not Rey's father. The source, named "Jack," has reported stuff that was misinterpreted or changed before, but he's been right about somethings (he was the one who figured out that "AVCO" was VII.

    I'm a little uncertain of what to make of it.
