    Serious answer: If VIII picks up immediately after TFA, I just kind of expect Luke to turn away from Rey and head to his cave. I think he's going to be a more reluctant hero in this, and it might take something big like an attack by the Knights of Ren to bring him back.

    Luke stares intensely at Rey and the lightsaber with a tortured look on his face. He looks down and to the side, taking a moment to calm himself. He lifts his head back up, looking at Rey with a less tortured but just as serious expression. As he opens his mouth to speak, Jar Jar Binks jumps up behind Luke from behind the cliff, wearing flowing black robes! With one swift stroke of a red lightsaber, he cuts Luke in two! "Meesa badass now!"
