    That's what I said. Lucasfilm hadn't made a big film since 2005 (2008 if you count Indy) and they asked for 6 films starting in 2015. It's a pretty insane ask.

    Does anybody believe that George Lucas secretly made his sequel trilogy in secret and never told anybody and then sold star wars to Disney knowing that they would screw it up and plunge Disney into ruin so he could buy it back cheap and then release his movies to a more appreciative crowd now that they know what a truly awful star wars movie is.

    But haven't they been having trouble selling merch lately and the cast is telling everybody how awful Kathleen Kennedy is for the brand yet she is still employed.Disneyland is closed and all they keep sending to Disney plus is horrible except the mandalorion and talk of closing Disney world again in the not to distant future. Eventually aren't they going to run out of people to lay off and then what?

    Lucas delivered to Disney all of his notes, writings, designs, and everything else to do with past and future plans for Star Wars that had not yet been used.

    Meaning: Lucas gave them his vision of the story as part of the purchase.

    So, no. Because it's factually incorrect as Lucas gave his version of the story to Disney.

    You are not "everybody". People knew he was working on a new Star Wars. He had hired folks to get started on prep work.

    Ignorance is not evidence.

    If Disney plus is a success why has it not turned a profit yet? Didn't you hear the cast member interviews where they said Kathleen Kennedy ruined the sequel trilogy? And isn't baby yoda the only merch that sold but they over sold them and now there just sitting on the shelf during the holiday season.

    I can't edit the comment that bothers you but I didn't say in it exactly what I meant to because what I meant to say is does any one believe George Lucas after selling star wars made the sequels any way and just put it in a secret vault and only will be released upon his death. I know i mixed some other stuff in there but that is all I meant. Secondly your probably right because mark hamil has stated in many interviews that when you are trying to keep a secret you do not tell Carrie fisher he said tell a phone tell a friend tell Carrie so just because Carrie fisher was to be a big part of those movies it probably didn't happen

    Wasn’t.. Disney recently reported to be shifting their media focus to streaming as well? If so, I feel that’s more indicative that Disney+ was actually a pretty good success.

    It just means that nobody wants to go to the movies right now and they have no choice but if the new content is no good it will fail because most of the old movies on it everyone already has on blue ray or dvd.
