    So just wondering if any of you guys have plans on who you are going to watch the new movie with and when you are going to watch it. I'm seeing it at 7 EST on the 14th with my dad (and I am getting there 4 hours early to make sure I get a good seat... no assigned setting where I am going). It's kind of exciting that we are close enough to start talking about this!

    14th at 6pm. I was supposed to go see it with a friend of mine (the same who saw TFA with me) but that fell through so I'm gonna be going all alone.

    I'm also seeing it alone on the 14th: twice. Once at 6pm for the fan event, and once at 10pm. I'm going alone because I'll be visiting my elderly father in San Diego, and I don't really have friends there anymore: haven't lived there in over 20 years--only family members who wouldn't be interested in going to a fan event on opening day. After the first viewing, though, I'll be coming straight here to the Cantina to squee!

    It totally is. Right before the movie feels like you are a cross between a kid waking up on Christmas and a guy in the front row of a Metallica concert. Only way I can describe it, childlike wonder and anticipation meets insanely pumped up.

    Seeing it Friday night with my brother and best friend, a tradition we have done since TPM in 1999. I have seen every SW movie with my brother going back to 1977. OK now I feel old!

    with my sister on the 14th (i've turned her into a crazyfan), and then with my bestie on the 15th.

    i saw TFA alone. i love going to the movies by myself. but i'm looking forward to seeing this one with family & friends.
    and as @The Last Deadeye said, in a Star Wars audience you are never alone. all my subsequent viewings of TFA involved lots of chatter with total strangers before the film rolled and after! : D

    Midnight going into the 14th: “alone”, surrounded by hardcore SW fans.

    Later on the 14th, at 15:30: “alone”, with probably less hardcore SW fans.

    On the 17th in the evening: with friends.

    On the 18th, first thing in the morning at 08:30: literally alone. Virtually no-one ever turns up to the first showing on a Monday.

    On the 24th: with family (it’s my birthday :D)

    Later viewings: either alone or with friends who have yet to see the film.

    14th at 7pm with my 22yr old son, his friend (Who is basically my son) and his mother, since my 18yr old daughter bailed on me. Plus four other friends cuz we got 8 tickets.

    15th at 7pm with my wife and 10yr old daughter and a couple others. I always screen movies first before the 10yr old sees them. She can't wait to take her porg to the movie with her! :) we have a small wager on whether or not Chewie eats porg.

    I'm seeing it on the 14th at 7:00 p.m. with my son, nephew and brother at the AMC Prime Theater. I wanted to do the fan event, but the $30 per person was a little too steep for my pockets, since I am paying for every one in our group as part of their birthday present. I am also paying for the concessions as well. I hope a Cantina member that will attend the Fan Event will describe the extra footage that is supposed to be shown at the event. I have a feeling it is the Solo: A Star Wars Story teaser trailer.
