When are you watching TLJ and who are you watching it with?

12am Wednesday night with my girlfriend. It’s my birthday on the 13th too

 

You know what @mecano that's what the ticket guy said as well. when I went for the 14th option, he figured it would get ugly in terms seats being taken as the evening approaches. Better to get in early & undisturbed. Plus I like taking reaction selfies when it's quiet before going in. Same to you sir.

 

I am seeing it twice on the 14th (and 15th by the time we are done) with two of my best friends. Can't wait, counting down the hours until we can finally see it!

 

This is why I don't go too much to cinema. When I see an important movie, I have to be sunked in it. But there's always a group of teenagers having conversation, people with noisy bags of food, those behind you kicking your seat, this one in front tall as Chewbacca.....the best way to enjoy it is to go your time, when kids are still in school and the rest in the work

 

The total has been updated to around 20 people now going in my group. This is going to be phenomenal! Pictures to come after the premiere for you all to check out.

 

I bought 20 tickets for my family and friends who wanted to go, to a theater in Cleveland, TN, at a standard showing. It's assigned seating and recliner seats with great screens and such. I am most nervous about assigning everyone seats so they'll be by someone they know, but some people will be pushed to end, so hopefully the don't care too much. I can't wait. I would've gone to the 6pm fan event showing, but those tickets were like $30 and I knew 19 other people wouldn't have been down for that. So I will be in the 7pm showing with them... But I also bought 10:30pm IMAX tickets to go later that night. Haha. And I got 3D tickets in case I want to go the next morning at like 10AM. So yeah... I am maybe too crazed...

 

A group of 18 of us are seeing it on Friday 15th in standard 2D format. I'm not a fan of midnight viewings and I much prefer seeing it with my friend group/family - thus why we're seeing it on the Friday and not Thursday.

I booked the day off from work!
I wake up to my alarm set as the Imperial March
I'll read Star Wars comics with my morning coffee and breakfast
I'll watch a couple episodes of Star Wars Rebels or Clone Wars
Hammer Star Wars Battlefront 2 for a couple of hours
Head to McDonalds to meet up with the rest of the party ahead of TLJ
WATCH THE LAST JEDI

 

12.01 am on Thursday and I'm purposely going on my own. Not many of my friends or family are as into SW as I am and there's no way I could cope with this;(again )

'Who's that?"
"What's she doing?"
"I don't like his hat"

OMG heads would roll lol so I think its better for the safety of my family that I watch it on my own first.

Then myself, my fiance and a few others will go see it again on Xmas eve, then hopefully I won't be compelled to commit murder lol.

 

hahaha ~ i saw TFA after Christmas (for the third time, i think) with one of my other sisters and she started asking questions right away in the village and i said to her: it will explain what's important, don't worry about the rest. she was worried she was missing out on something, but i think that's one of the beautiful things about TFA: you really can go in as a complete newbie and still enjoy it even if it won't have that deep resonance you might feel as a long-time fan.

5 more sleeps than I get to see it. Yay

 

Nervous as hell about bring my 8 year old nephew to his first theater experience. He may talk. He may want to leave. He may distract me and others. Not thrilled, but it was the will of his makers.

 

My oldest daughter had some money she did not spend at a school Christmas store. My wife suggested she use it to take her sister to a movie. She responded by saying we can use it when we go see TLJ for the second or third time. I just smiled.

 

Well I finally got my tickets at the Marcus Theatres Ultrascreen showing 12-14 at 9:30pm. We had to opt for the very front row though as everything else was sold out. Unfortunately we were not in a 100% certain situation so I had to hold off on getting the tickets till almost the last minute. The thing I noticed was that almost all the showings at the big chain theatres are virtually sold out, and the ones afternoon on the next day are already sold out too. If I recall correctly that wasn't quite the case for TLJ. I am seeing it with immediately family and already have tickets bought for the extended family on Christmas day. We will take up almost a whole row.

My son when he was about 6 did just fine with his first movie experience being TPM. Maybe make sure he watches a few of the Clone Wars episodes, heck maybe even take him on a test run in the next couple days CoCo might be a good dry run.

 

I might go the week after it gets released on like a Tuesday afternoon by myself. I don't really have anyone to go with so I won't be seeing it during a crowded night show, and definitely not on opening night.

 

I'm going to see the film with a friend of mine during the weekend. Our expectations were pretty low but that didn't really help for Episode VIII either. Either way, we'll see how it turns out. It's a long one.

 

going tonight or more precisely tomorrow morning at 00:01. Taking my wife and our eldest son with me.

 

I'm going as early in the US as is allowed - 7pm on Thursday. I'll be with family and friends.
