Where are the plot holes?

Did you watch the film properly or were you blinded by Rey No One rage?

Luke had shunned the Force - that is why Leia couldn't reach him.

And were you seriously suggesting that a guy that can Force project himself over the galaxy, couldn't sense where his sister was at?

I agree. I'm not a fan of the movie. Saw it a 2nd time. Honestly cannot say I liked it more, but I caught more the 2nd time... like the Jedi books on the Falcon.

AND here are 2 items around Luke's death/disappearance I haven't seen anyone else mention...
1) Before Luke disappears on Ahch-to (speculated to be his death from Force exhaustion) he's looking at a Binary Sunset... Ahch-to only has a single sun.
Did RJ trick us with a Hologram Luke projecting a Hologram Luke from Tatooine? Perhaps Luke was never on Ahch-To but that was only a hologram of him & he was always on Tatooine. Or maybe it was Luke achieving some level of peace & the binary sunset symbolized happiness.

2) Hologram Luke gave hologram Falcon dice to Leia & she leaves them for Kylo Ren. The hologram dice disappear after Luke vanished from Ahch-to. Why/how could hologram dice outlast the person who created the hologram?

 

Like I said, the film has a shitload of answers. Luke had closed himself off from the force, that is really hard to miss if you see the film.

 

Outlast? Luke isn't dead. He's now more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

 

Watch the force awakens again !!!

No you missed the point. Watch TFW awakens again to understand the plot error regarding the tracking of ships in hyperdrive...or whatever they call it.

 

You're going to have to spell it out to me because you're jumping from one alleged plot hole to the other. There is no Luke used the Force plot hole. Nor is there any plot hole related to that misguided article you linked to.

What plot hole are you suggesting exactly?

 

Je suis tres bien! That ain't a plot hole. Someone already dealt with that further up. It's set up from a previous movie, bad writing not a plot hole.

 

Not even bad writing. The designs were in place around ANH but either were incomplete or WERE LOST when the Empire was destroyed. We know that the map to Ahch-To was incomplete but that the bit the FO had was SALVAGED from the Archives of the Empire.

These are just not plot holes and it is getting tedious. People just have sour grapes over Rey No One.

 

I am not going to spell it out for you. You are going to have to spend the rest of the day watching Rogue One, the OT and TFA.

Then report back to see if you have spotted it.

 

Mainly Rey Solo. I peeked into the hate movie thread and the bitterness...Eugh.

I'm pretty sure there are small inconsistencies in set and clothing someone is wearing between shots (generally can't see these unless you buy bluray of movie and do a shot for shot comparison for them), but no real plot holes. Sad these people can't find any.

LOL, you are quite correct. I bet if I did trawl back through the movies I would spot it.

I was wondering though, why they did not use the hyper drive tracking thingy in the TFA !!!!!

Was there a scene when they could have used it in TFA ?

 

It's obvious to me that the people who hate the movie are going to see everyone and everyones mother as being plot holes.

While the people who like it see the opposite.

 

There isn't a scene where a FO ship with this tech is in the vicinity of a resistance craft or the Falcon before it jumps into hyperspace and thus able to track it, no.
