But Han says in TFA that after the massacre Luke went searching for the first Jedi temple...

Who knows what he was looking for if he got there, a holocron?

Han says he knew Luke, but that the people who knew him best think he went looking for the first Jedi temple. I take that to mean that he doesn't pretend to be among the people who knew Luke best (because that would be Leia, presumably), and that he doesn't agree. Otherwise he would have said "I think he went..." After all, he's asked for his own opinion.

As far as Han is concerned, he may already have known by the time of Luke's disappearance that Luke had found that temple. He just preferred to leave him alone to grieve.

Secret behind how to defeat Snoke; secret behind the prophesy; old Jedi who took sanctuary there... the list is endless really.

I didn't take that from it at all. Han and Luke were obviously estranged somewhat. Han was probably pissed that Luke became Ben's guardian of sorts. He probably also was bitter with Luke as Ben turned evil when he was with Luke. But then Han hears from other people who knew Luke that he went looking for the first Jedi Temple. It wouldn't make sense for Han to know that Luke had already found it and been there before.

Yep those are 3 good reasons for being there, maybe they might shoot a scene of Rey & Luke at the temple before this trilogy is done.

I thinking is pretty clear as @master_shaitan stated that Luke went looking for the first temple after the massacre. Also if Han new Luke had found the temple but preferred to let him grieve why was everyone trying to find Luke and get there hands on the map? Why not just ask Han.

Because Han sympathised with how Luke felt, and because he knew what his son had actually done to Luke. What was he supposed to say? "Cheer up, buddy, life goes on?" Luke has probably lost his family after all. Even Han wasn't himself anymore after the incident (we still don't know if it even was a massacre of any sort)

Han wouldn't have told anybody where Luke was if he felt Luke didn't want to be found.

    You're missing the point.
Han says Luke went looking for the first Jedi Temple. If he knew that Luke had been there before, he wouldn't say "looking for it" and if it was as you say, then he wouldn't have mentioned the temple at all. He'd say "Luke? Uh he went to find a nice fishing spot in the outer rim. Dunno where exactly. Best leave him to it".

Unless he knows he's talking to Luke's daughter and he wants her to understand the "first Jedi temple" allusion. It's her home.
