They made a point to make him a recurring character in the clone wars, and he is an officer on the death star...shouldn't he be on this show to give the three some extra continuity?

Would be nice to see him in the show. I liked him in TCW and his voice is awesome.

Ah that's cool. I never realized that guy that kept showing up in the Clone wars cartoon was the Grand Admiral seen in the Death Star briefing of Star Wars. I obviously noticed Tarkin in TCW but knowing they added some of the other commanders seen in the movie is pretty awesome.

In the novel Tarkin, Yularen becomes deputy director of military intelligence. The book takes place five years after the end of the clone wars, in 14 bby.

That's the same time frame as the 80s Droids cartoon. I know that's not considered canon but those making TCW and Rebels refer to things from there on occasion. And the movies have lifted ideas from it as well.

Yeah that's just "Star Wars" Lego not "Star Wars: Rebels." If it was Rebels it would say it.

In any case, figure of proof or not, it would be really nice to see him return. And I wager he will, so long as the focus moves from Kallus and the Inquisitor and their pursuit of the group. I'm wagering it will be later in the series, at earliest maybe season two, as I'm assuming the series will eventually address the plans for the Death Star and how they were acquired. I don't think Disney would be given something as iconic as the Death Star and not make use of it at some point.

Once that material starts to filter its way in, we might see him show up. Mayhap he might just appear here and there to have meetings/briefings with Kallus as well, unrelated to the Death Star, given that he is (apparently) a higher-up in the same ISB that Kallus is part of.
