    We've glimpsed or have outright seen every main hero from the OT except Threepio. Not even a sliver of the goldenrod plating... NOTHING!

    Is he with Leia? Is he with Gleeson? They are sitting next to each other in the script reading photo.

    Is he with Han and Chewie? All the funniest lines and interaction are between them. But they don't really need him. R2 was much more handy at assessing the Falcon's problems. C3P0 just gave us the odds of success and pissed Han off.

    Are they holding him back because of his gunmetal arm?

    Where will he be?

    My theory is he's with Leia. You know he's not with Han. Han would have destroyed him after all these years. I think R2 is with Luke, as well. I can't wait to watch R2 and 3PO interact with BB8.

    I don't care where CP3O is (I am forever calling him that now), so long as he is not dismembered and recombined with some battle droids, then losing his head, being pulled around by R2 and having to drop stupid quips like, "This is such a drag."

    I think he's with Leia. He was hanging around with her in ESB, and since she most likely has some role leading some people, his services would benefit her best. Unless she's dispatched him to serve with someone else for some reason.

    Someone put up a wild thing that maybe Kylo Ren had intentionally got cybernetic parts not out of need, but to be more robotic like Darth Vader.

    What if it's actually C-3PO and he's actually putting real body parts on, to be more like Luke?! Creepfest.

    Hey don't laugh, I remember someone speculating a while back that perhaps the ST was the reverse Anakin/Vader story, more of a Pinocchio droid that wants to become a real person by grafting real body parts on to itself. If anyone were to do that, it would have to be CP3O...:rolleyes:

    what if the movie starts with not a lightsaber, but C-3PO drifting through space above Jakku. Han couldn't take his constant drivel and jettisoned his golden ass during the battle post RotJ. it's taken 30 years for his orbit to degrade and now, a new adventure begins...

    really though, he's probably with Leia, serving up tea with his new gun metal arm (it has a heating rod in there to keep the tea warm).

    My first thoughts on the matter is that it took one week for someone to start a thread that could be retitled "Where's Threepio?"

    I'm personally not worried about what his shell looks like. I am surprised they didn't show the costume at celebration, though.
