SPECULATION Who knew of Palpatine's double life?

I don't think that the CIS leadership knew that Palpatine was Sidious. In ROTS, Nute Gunray says this to Grvious:

NUTE GUNRAY: Safe? Chancellor Palpatine managed to escape your grip, General, without Count Dooku. I have doubts about your ability to keep us safe.

Either both of these people didn't know Palpatine was Sidious, or they both did know but didn't know that the other knew. I don't think either of them knew.

What I would like to know is, when Vader i sent to kill the CIS leaders, and Nute Gunray refers to "Lord Sidious" and that he was told there would be peace, shouldn't that have tripped an alarm in his head that these people were in league with "Palpatine" and that something was up? Nute Gunray knew Palpatine by his Sith name; that should have told Vader something.

 

Dooku knew. That’s why he was surprised when Palpatine told Anakin to kill him. No other Separatists knew Sidious was Palpatine. If Grievous knew, he wouldn’t have crashed the Invisible Hand.
