Apart from Rian Johnson, of course, I'd rather like to see David Fincher return to SciFi and direct a dark and foreboding Star Wars thriller. Ain't gonna happen, but would be fun :)

I think we had a similar thread before... So, my answer will probably be the same. Haha!

    Matt Reeves
    Duncan Jones
    Neill Blomkamp
    Jon Favreau
    Martin Campbell

+1, this would be a missed opportunity if that doesn't happen.

He's one of the best German directors of all time. So, it would be interesting! #Don'tYouAgree

I may be the only one who thinks this, but if you ask me, this is a perfect opportunity to beg George Lucas to come back. If Lucasfilm offered him a big check and creative freedom (or at least "creative freedom as long as there's no cutesy stuff"), he might change his mind. I do believe he has stated that he had ideas for another trilogy.

Scott Cooper- I loved his work on Hostiles and he has shown to be someone who is capable of producing both tense elements and intimate human drama.

Out of the ones you listed, I'd say Taika - he directed by far my favourite MCU film.

But seriously, how is Deborah Chow not on that list?!?!?!
