They should put her into a Obiwan movie, just between rebels season 3 and Rogue one.
She survived in that temple, and somehow got on track of another inquisitor, following him just to find out that they suspect some jedi on Tatooine.
She rushes there and finds Obiwan, they lure the inquisitors away from tatooine, and fight them.
All inquisitors die, and so does Ashoka, Obiwan returns to tatooine. When Vader arrives at the scene he finds all his inquisitors and ashoka dead, thinking she was the "Jedi" they were hunting on tatooine.

Wow, nice work! Great plot that takes care of several thorny issues: how to get an Obi-Wan movie that is exciting without showing Obi-Wan betraying his mandate to watch over Luke, how to give Ahsoka a heroic send-off, how to incorporate Vader without watering down the drama of his meeting with Obi-Wan in ANH. Hats off to you! Get to it and write a pitch for LFL for this plot!

Well it has some weak points. We know how it would end and it would be in danger of oversaturation of that era.

Agreed with @semiote. If there truly are no plans to bring Ahsoka past ANH era, getting rid of her and all remaining Inquisitors (if any, not sure there are at this point) would be a great way to wrap up multiple loose threads while allowing for the Obi Wan movie to actually have a plot.

Sure - if we're going to ignore Ahsoka's character altogether.

Of course this would also rule her out as helping Luke in anyway in the ST.

I don't think either of these things are flaws: the quality of a film doesn't lie in ignorance of how it ends, or else no one would ever re-watch the movies they love. And, the thrill of seeing Ahsoka and the Inquisitors live action would outweigh any threat of over-saturation--for me, at any rate...

There is absolutely no way Ahsoka will be in any of these movies.

While she is a popular character from a cartoon...95% of fans have no clue who she is. Lucasfilm is not going to take that chance to have some random character whose arc was long ago into their trilogies.

    Not going to happen.

Don't get me wrong....id love to see her in a live action thing....perhaps the Obi movie but I am not holding my breath even for that.

She's dead. I've always hated the idea of alien characters aging more slowly than humans.

Can we see Ahsoka's, hitherto unknown attractive grand-daughter instead.

I mean, Maz already covers the old alien female non-Luke Force user in this trilogy.

Togruta live about as long as Humans. And she is about 60 years old now or slightly older than that. Not dead.

I like that idea. I want her to be in a movie, but putting her in the main series of movies might be a little jarring to some people. This is a good compromise.

I agree. If she can’t be in the main movies, well, at least give Ahsoka her own spin-off movie.

Ok, I am beginning to lose hope that Ahsoka will be in TLJ. So far no hints of here being there. And her fate is still uncertain in Rebels. I will be, at least for now, hang on to my Ezra theory.

Han Solo's memorial grave will be next to Asohka's by sheer flukey coincidence....

I wanted to read through this whole topic, but a lot of confrontation so I will just post my thoughts.

I checked yes, maybe and she's dead.

Yes, there's always the possibility a new Expanded Universe character can have a role, even if it's just a cameo, in one of the major movies. Quinlan Vos showed up in The Phantom Menace even if he was just a guy sitting in the background on Tantooine when Anakin passes by as a child. So it's not far fetched that Ahsoka could show up in a movie, even if it's just walking by in the background on a heavily populated world. It's not far fetched that she could show up in The Last Jedi as an old and wise former Jedi who helps Luke. All it takes is a bit of creativity to introduce her. So it's not impossible. The question is will they do it, which leads to my next choice.

I chose maybe because simply, I don't know. As emphasized above, EU characters have appeared in the movies, mostly after A New Hope. Chopper and The Ghost both show up in Rogue One. Saw Guerra had the rest of his story told in Rebels after appearing in Rogue One. Even, again, they are just background elements. A character named General Cracken from a role playing game showed up in Return of the Jedi. So it depends on what they decide to do with Ahsoka.

I selected she's dead well, because A New Hope occurs roughly 22ish years after the start of the Clone Wars. Ahsoka is a teenager in the Clone Wars and in Rebels she's probably somewhere in her mid to late 30's given she is somewhat superior to Kanan assuming he may be in his late 20's during Rebels. The Force Awakens takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi so if we do the math then roughly speaking Ahsoka would at least be somewhere around 70-80 or so years old. So I would say if she didn't die fighting, she probably died of natural causes.

My other point I want to make is that Maz is already the old and wise orange alien character. I'm not saying you can't have two old and wise characters, but I would still put this in the heavily "maybe" category as often these days creatives in film and television have a hard time handling multiple characters of similar concepts. Thus, I would doubt they would give her a big role if they put her in. She may serve as something like someone for Maz to bounce ideas off of or Luke and Maz or something for like a few moments and then disappear. Which wouldn't do her justice if you ask me given her age and potential abilities at that point which leads me to believe that by the time of The Last Jedi, Ahsoka is more than likely dead.
