I'm sure Luke was hidden away from where Vader grew up so it would have been tough to sense him out of the blue unless he was really close .

AOTC is actually my second favorite Star Wars movie.
    I love AOTC.

I think the prequels get too much stick. I honestly think had they someone else as Anakin it would have been much better. Plus all the green screening made the action look a little false at times but overall very entertaining and have still watched them about 10 times each :)

I cannot agree with you. I would almost say that "THE FORCE AWAKENS" is the worst . . . well, STAR WARS movie.

The sense of mystery was the only thing that kept me watching despite the comically horrible love scenes. I liked the action sequences, they were fast paced despite the over usage of CGI. Politics... meh. My favorite part is at the end when the clones are marching around and the star destroyers take off, it had a great score, too. The love scenes, though, they give me shivers.

When i first saw attack of the clones i adored it, i left the cinema buzzing, then on repeat viewing things in it grew to annoy me:
    • Yoda needing a walking stick until he fights, they he jumps round at light speed....
    • the lack of chemistry between Anakin and Padme
    • Hayden Christians entire performance
    • the bit with C3PO's head been on a battle droid!!!!!! it just ruins that bit of the film, which is brilliant, all the jedi fighting the army of droids.... but they keep cutting to C3PO making crap jokes RARRRRRR!!!!!!!!
But these annoying aspects don't out weigh the things i love about the film.
    • Ewan's performance as Obi Wan, makes Lucas's dialogue, which pretty much every other actor in the entire episode struggles to not sound forced. Ewan's dialogue comes across as natural and even funny, "you want to go home and re think you life" ..... "Well, if droids could think, there'd be none of us here, would there?"..... " Well, I hope it doesn't take too long. I have work to do." ..... "Good Job". Just a few of Ewan's great delivery's in the film.
    • The scenes on Coruscant, I love the bar scene, and i also love the in Dexters cafe scene, i know a lot of people hate it saying it isn't very 'star wars' but i like the way we get to see different, less shiny side of life on Coruscant and think that scene is cool.
    • The mystery of whats going on, stars wars plots are normally fairly straight forward (with the odd big reveal), this episode plays out more like a mystery.
    • the Jango Fett vs Kenobi battle
    • the Jedi vs the battle droids in the arena battle..... loads of jedi fighting together awesome!!!! (ignore C3PO RAR RAR RAR!!!!!!!)
    • Natalie Portman looking incredibly hot in that white jump suit ( i know i shouldn't write this as a tad sexist, but still she looks amazing!)
    • Yoda Fighting .....even though its comes accross as daft, and its hypocritical for me to put it the whats good about the film after i put it in the bad list at the start of this post.... i have to admit i get a kick out of seeing Yoda fight.

Well one thing I absolutely love about AOTC is the battle in the arena, monsters and a ton of Jedi. I never took notice of my favourites in there until after I watched the Clone Wars

Please don't point your blasters at me, but I actually like Anakin and Padme's relationship, I know it has some cheesy lines in it, but still I love their romance theme "Across the Stars" if I ever get married, I want that music to play at my wedding.

Plus the movie ends introducing my favourite era of the SW universe.

Some things I don't understand are, why does Yoda only use that floating chair once? In the Jedi Temple when he is sitting in his chair, where are all the other empty chairs in the council chamber?

I do agree with Fooled Trooper in ATOC we did not see enough of Anakin's adventure into the Dark Side and neither did we see much of the Clone Wars. I personally think they should've added more of Anakin's fall (anakin 3)(vader) and of the Clone Wars(stormy 3)

If you take away the horrendous love scenes on Naboo Attack of the Clones is a pretty good movie. Whenever I watch AOTC I just skip the love scenes. Works out great.

People who like attack of the clones should seriously interact with other people because no person talks like they do in that movie. It is an abomination. But it is still Star Wars. Though untill december 2017 I will not be watching any of the prequels. Now that I've actually seen an extraordinarily good star wars movie for the first time in 30 years, the prequels are just too painfull to watch. I'll be watching A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi (a bit less....that movie is now starting to annoy me) and finally The Force Awakens for the rest of my life.

No no not the ewoks. The first act is really starting to bother me again as it did before the prequels. The whole beginning of Return of the Jedi is rather dull and colourless. I never liked the Rancor fight or the sudden appearance of all our heroes. Only the scene where Leia takes Han out of carbonite has some flavour to it. The scarlacc pit is just weird but the fight is enjoyable. Especially Luke striking at air instead of actual targats:eek:. Not to mention the whole "Jedi Rocks" music clip in the middle. The original one with the fat lady made me upset, but the new special edition version just made me throw stuff at the screen. I really love ROTJ, but only after the first act. The true light of the first act is of course Leia.....though we all know why. Naughty George...naughty George.

I do like some of the fight scenes in Attack of the Clones. But those are just battle porn. The gunships, clones, walkers and landing ships look great. It was an interesting, though not very realistic battle. But then they cut to this rather strange scene with our heroes pursuing Dooku with a gunship that is......conveniently...out of rockets.:( And then it really just really became very bad. Anakin and Obi Wan vs Dooku was interesting.....but then Digi-Yoda came in to do his funny flips. That really bothered me. Though I like all the scenes in the finale. Yoda and Mace on the Clone Wars, The departing troop ships and Palpatine, and hell even the wedding scene.

Jango Fett was also pretty awesome, though I never really understood why he just couldn't be Boba Fett. George?(boba fett)

i like the Han out of carbonite scene, but yes, i agree the first act is kinda filler beyond that. never seen the specialized edition stupidity (after watching the revamped ANH, i swore off). still think the ewoks are kind of stupid ~ hahaha. it's definitely the last in my rankings, but only because TFA blew past it so easily.

slave leia never phased me. but that's probably because i'm not gay. : o p

I started to like the ewoks because they're so goofy. Their tactics make military sense. I cannot say that of the tactics of the Clones, Jedi and Droids in AOTC. And I am always very pleased to know that the Ewoks probably ate their enemies at the victory banquet. Though they were probably upset that Luke did not share any of his Black Robot Man. Private barbeques are very much disliked by the Ewok nation.

that's part of why AOTC is unwatchable to me. i have no idea why we're supposed to care about all the random melee. the "roger roger" droids are idiotic, and the clone thing just sits so uneasy with me from a moral perspective. the thing is a disaster of superficial storytelling.

I can stand the prequels on paper, but not on screen. AOTC is like watching the Star Wars version of The Room, but with way too big a budget.

It's funny because the whole point of AOTC was the mystery of the new clone army and they just sit around on aka mini until the last 11-15 minutes of the film and the STAR T of the clone wars...the film should have been called, "Atrack of the Bad CGI at the Tail End of the Movie ."

My head would have blown from insanity when they would have decided to make the republic army just normal stormtroopers and the separatist army just like the rebels. Now that would have been awesome.
