Its probably Han and Kylo just like Luke's speech during the second trailer is about Kylo Ren

I am just wondering what the symbolism is (if any) between Rey and Kylo Ren on the poster. It's a similar pose with their weapons held close and at the same angle. It could purely be aesthetics, but I have a feeling it has some meaning.

I am still thinking Rey and Kylo Ren are cousins.

    http://www.wired.com/2015/11/star-wars-force-awakens-jj-abrams-interview/

For people whose first movie is The Force Awakens, the Luke Skywalker character means absolutely nothing. And he's probably in the movie much less than Vader in Episode IV.

Additionally, doing "I am you father/_blank_ is your father" again and with the same character (Luke Skywalker) is hack writing.

    Repost:

    (October 13, 2015)

Kathleen Kennedy (2:06): The fact that that opportunity was afforded me, it's really put me in a position to make decisions that affect a lot of the women that I work with today, that I think has made a huge difference. I mean, the fact that I can sit in a meeting and say, "I think the protagonist should be a woman," I think that those are the kind of changes that are really really important in our business...

Kathleen Kennedy (8:14): Well one of the things, I mean the fact that the company was bought by the Walt Disney Company has been amazing because they very much support the fact that we are trying to grow in the workforce a number of women in executive positions and in all positions inside the company and with the movies that we're making and with the protagonists that we're putting in the stories. And so I got a huge amount of support with that. But we have 50% of our executive team are women. And six out of eight of the people in my story group are women. And I'm sure there's a lot of people that would be surprised that we're making Star Wars movies and the majority of the people involved in the development of those stories are women. And I think that it's making a huge difference in the stories that we're trying to tell.

Kathleen Kennedy (10:40): [The new female lead character] is one of the first things J.J. [Abrams] and I talked about and that we talked to [Walt Disney Studios Chairman] Alan Horn about. It was a very early decision and a choice and something that we worked a long time developing. I think the interesting path we've had is the conversation that took place around consumer products because there were a lot of companies that were in place who frankly didn't initially feel that Star Wars was for girls. And when you have a company situation where between Lucasfilm and Disney we were all looking at this situation and saying, "No, with Star Wars we have to change this. We have to make sure that we create products that are in a sense appealing to both boys and girls. What's wrong with that?"

They look pretty hazel brown in all those pictures you posted tho. >.> Hazel eyes will tint towards light green in certain lighting, and sometimes they tint amber, but they're still basically a shade of brown in the end. There are a ton of pics of Daisy where her eyes are clearly not green. But it doesn't matter much lol - I don't think Maz Kanata's words are gonna end up being literal. Luke has blue eyes, anyway, not green ones.

    Nope they are green.
They look pretty much green to me.

Green eyes are not shade of brown.

Also green eyes are rarest eye color in the world, and much more special than brown ( the most common color ).

Omg just saw Spectre yesterday and that would be my worst nightmare scenario of Rey/Kylo Ren.

"Mom and dad liked you better so I faked my death and started ruining your life muahahaha".

Going back to "If Rey and Kylo are twins":
The twin gene is only a female trait. Females are the only ones that can carry the possibility of their offspring to have twins. If Rey and Kylo were twins, there would be a much larger possibility of them being Leia's (plus hopefully Han's) children.
There is a much smaller chance of them being Luke's twins because of the twin gene being only imposed from their mother, who ever she may be.
I personally do not think they are twins, because I am hoping that Rey is Luke's, but if they were twins in any aspect of this movie (before we would know their parentage) they would most likely be Leia's children.
Or someone completely out of the Skywalker/solo heritage, but we already have confirmation that it's a continuation of the Skywalker lineage.

That is just a wiki. Everyone can change that text.

Also hazel eyes do not exist as main eye color. Only 3 main eye colors are brown, blue and green.
Everything elese are just shades of existing colors.

Her eyes are green. As for the shade, I do not care.
    Green eyes are my favorite.

You sure are biased then...:p You can determine someone's eye color as Hazel. I was saying that my dad's is also hazel because it changes to brown and green often. Depends on lighting. http://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions/eye-color-hazel.htm
    Serious question and research time:
Who else in the star wars universe has brown/green/hazel eyes?

If changes color to green. Then you father has green eyes.
Dark green or olive green, can look brownish on dim light.

Hazel is a shade of brown eyes. Brown eyes are always brown.
Hazel is a hazelnut shade of brown eyes.

And I think that Rey is a first hero in Star Wars with green eyes.

    Edit: Yoda has green eyes.

    Rey is Yoda's granddaughter. (yoda):D

I understand you both think she'll turn out to actually be a skywalker, and I acknowledge that the trailer may be misleading us. What I can't understand is how someone could say "I don't get how this tv trailer is implying Rey as a Solo, I really don't. It makes no sense."

Do you think, just from the trailer, that it implies Rey is Luke or Han's kid? When the trailer says "same eyes on different people" and then does a close up shot of Rey's eyes and Han's eyes, do you think the average film goer will think that it is talking about her being Luke's daughter?

"Just renumber what you see and what you are listening too could be two completely different things." I get that. The first avengers trailer made it seem like hulk was chasing captain america out a window. Trailers are cut this way all the time.

This implication is basic film making.

shot of dude: "hey hand me some candy"
cut to a close-up of candy with another persons hand reaching for it
shot of dude eating an identical looking piece of candy

now we don't know for sure that the candy is the same candy taken from the bowl, but the set-up sure implies it. Maybe the next shot is the dude saying "never mind, I had an extra piece in my pocket" but without the new scene, it would imply that the candy from the bowl is the same one as the peice being eaten.

In TV spot they show the eyes of Rey, Han, Poe, Finn and then Rey again.

So according to your logic, all of them are sons and daughter... childrens of Han.
Poe is son of Han because his eyes are shown after Han eyes.

I would not look to much into that.

In my opinion Maz speaks about Skywalker eyes.
