SPOILER A cyborg seen, I have not

So hey thanks to the person who bumped this! This was one of the first threads I followed when I started lurking and could not for the life of me find it. Anyways, regarding this piece here..

Certainly there's been a lot of rumors and we won't know definitively until December, but I've always felt this rumor in particular was infinitely more appealing than the MSW Luke & Daisy one-scene theory/climax.

 

It is an interesting angle @Kyle... the Sith are dead, they ended with Palpatine and Vader... but the relic hunter awakens something far older, and far more malevolent...

 

Luke showing up in the middle of Act III is far more likely than him showing up at the very end of the movie - no matter what one leak says. Why on earth have the old guard in the movie if you aren't going to at least have them interact with each other? Luke might not be "crazy" but he can sure be convinced of something. Kyle's rumor is the primary reason why I wanted to dredge up the old Rumor of Luke and Han having a conflict - it just feels far more interesting than what other sites are reporting as the plot.

 

For some reason this post really got me thinking and feeling at the same time. I gave it a like, even though I'm not sure sure if or why I mighy like it. Thanks for the thought provocation, and the feelings of confusion. Prevailing themes in the spoiler game.

 

I searched these boards up and down and can't find it... How could it have gotten posted here and then disappear? You'd think something of that magnitude would have spread like wildfire considering how many of us are looking for the tiniest piece of evidence to convince ourselves that we don't have to worry about Luke being in only one scene at the end of the movie.

 

If you are talking about those small cropped images of Luke from G@brielgr@y, I believe those were debuked some time ago. Someone in the cantina found the original photo on the internet.

 

Good to know. Maybe @TIDMADT thought those pictures were the same one @Kyle was talking about. As far as I know, the one Kyle saw has not leaked anywhere and only he and MSW have seen it.

So is the pic with Han, Luke and Kylo concept art or an actual pic from on the set? And was it on the snow planet?

 

I think it's concept art until it is revealed in the next trailer.

 

I believe this concept art put Luke in the snow planet:

Could Luke be fighting Kylo at the evil castle while our friends set the charges? Then Han decides to reveal himself to Luke and Kylo and is killed. But then, when do Rey and Finn fight Kylo? Hmmm it doesn't add up.

 

Nope... as @Altgr0160 said, they were debunked... but they were of Luke's face...

 

Yeah, the Luke's face one was definitely debunked. But the one @Kyle saw had Luke, Han, and Kylo (without his mask) together in one shot. That picture has not leaked or been debunked.

 

Nope... it hasn't. @Kyle has a good track record, and we have only his good word to go on. There are probably thousands of pictures, seen by countless people, and every once in a while, someone mentions something they saw... but there is no proof. As time goes by, more of it will seep out, and a good deal has already, but... that;s the nature of the game

 

SFX usually stands for Special effects. Read this from Wiki http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_effect. I do believe it can stand for sound effects too, but that is a less common use of the term IMHO

 

Usually, it's SPFX for those of us who have been around since the OT... SFX is usually used in contrast to VFX (Visual effects)

I think that this scene is a combination of a few things. The rumors of the Falcon crash landing on the ship, Kylo going in the cockpit and the scene of Kylo in the forest from the first teaser. The Falcon crashes, Kylo goes to the ship and searches it and sits in the cockpit. He then feels something or sees footprint or hears something and goes to get our heroe's. Maybe he fights Rey/Finn right outside the Falcon and they run and hide in the forest (teaser shots) or JJ decided to move the fight away from the Falcon to deeper in the forest? IDK.
