Naturally.

If he's playing evil, wonder if he'll talk evilly to Daisy??

 

ok... and if this is true, why is he dressed as a rebel pilot?

I can conceive of one of the main character's children TURNING to the dark side... I can't wrap my head around one of them being obsessed with evil from childhood

 

The close up super pixelated shots show the Driver look alike as having a large, bushy mustache.

Obviously, Driver either wears it to disguise himself on set, or JJ is going old school and making Driver the Sith version of Ron Jeremy.

 

Maybe it's an EVIL mustache, that of Dick Dastardly or Snidley Whiplash.

EDIT: Okay I guess I can't use the nickname version of Richard which starts with a "D" lol

 

I'm telling you, Driver is a Solo. Some casting director thought they were "brilliant."

He may turn evil at some point, but I am betting he is a good guy (on the way down) for episode 7 - Then Daisy will have to put him in his place. It's always family problems for SW.

 

If a Skywalker/Solo offspring isn't the focal point..I'll explode.

I don't care how many orange pilot uniforms I see Adam Driver in...that dude IS Han and Leia's son. And he's playing the main bad guy.

 

And Daisy will have to try and stop him or she'll be destroyed.

 

How can anyone make out that picture to be Driver? I still don't think it's him...

 

I just would to know of the original reliable source that points Driver as a villian?

 

I can easily see ONE of the descendants of the Skywalker lineage turning to the Dark side or being targeted by the Sith to do it's bidding. It's actually part of the "non-cannon" books. So we might see brother and sister pitted against each other, or one trying to save the other. We may even have related characters, cousins perhaps, fighting each other and not know they're related. Were the children of the Luke and Leia hidden the same way Luke and Leia were? Not knowing their background, until perhaps their parents show up to save and or stop them.

 

didn't you guys hear?? Driver is actually playing a young Han Solo! the movie starts with an old Luke, Han, and Leia trying to fix a black hole, only they get sucked into the past! only Luke survives, and he quickly realizes that by going into the past he has changed history and created a whole new time line! so he tracks down a young Leia and Han (played by Ridley and Driver respectively) to set things right.

There is a lot of chatter about Adam being "evil" which stem mostly (I think) from a misunderstanding of a quote stating his character would be "in the vein" of Darth Vader.

Most took this as "he will be the big baddie", which isn't the aspect of Vader that was being alluded to. It was more, "he's this good kid who gets manipulated into becoming something else" The great story arc will be in trying to rescue him and his redemption

 

Driver goes bad.

Luke sacrifices himself in IX which causes Driver to turn away from the darkside and redeem himself by destroying the big bad.

can't be talking about adam and an Xwing... never seen anyone running off one of those lol

i think the photo also speculates that harrison ford is the guy walking up to Adam driver in the Xwing suit.. according to tinterwebs (which is never wrong lol) Driver is only 6cm taller than Ford - guy in the pic looks way taller than the guy on the right. (i concede that perception may cloud that judgement somewhat)

dunno.. i'm still not sold on this one.

 

I was thinking tonight, if Driver is hunting Force sensitive's in search of Luke's apprentice in order to kill them and he's unaware that it's actually Daisy he's after, how does he make that realisation? How does he know when he's found her? Once he has and he tells his master, I can imagine this happening:

DRIVER: Master, I have finally found the one we have been scouring the galaxy for so long. It's a girl. An attractive one at that. In fact, she is the daughter of the Solos.
MASTER: You know what you must do then, my apprentice. We cannot allow this girl to interfere with our plans. Find her and destroy her.

 

Best stuff I've heard yet.

 

They wouldn't let an extra to have such a specific hairstyle, this is a costume design 101.
