Would be most epic if Ezra (or Starkiller) and Tano replace the son & daughter alongside father Skywalker on Mortis.

I wonder what the implications for Ahsoka are and what will be her purpose. She's probably on her path to become a jedi-like warrior that transcends all the other Jedi. Also her destiny, here we go again, this time with her not being a part of sequel trilogy, hence I am waiting for some "convoluted canon" story to either kill her, send her off to another galaxy, reaching enlightment, or whatever they will come up with :)
Starting to have the same concerns as I have with my childhood TV show Dragon Ball, as there was a time gap in the comic book between the final arc and an end, or rather epilogue ten years later and the recent sequel started and pretty much filled up that gap – but we know that all the characters are where they are at the end, which kinda kills the possibilities and throws away any life or world threatening stakes. In case of Star Wars, the question whenever we watch the movies is, where were they? Or, reading the new EU (and disregarding the fantastic and over the top comic books), coming up with fan theories and things like, Unknown Regions in ST, cool, will we see the Chiss? To paraphrase tournament announcer of galactic tournament from Dragon Ball in his intro speech (and it's the whole speech): "The universe is vast... begin!"

But on the topic, I have wrote some time ago, that Mandalorian works great, probably also thanks to the volume limitations together with writing, as more intimate and personal story. Seeing Coruscant in S3, or appearance of Luke was great, but I didn't felt the scale of the galaxy as in OT where the group of Rebels engage in guerilla war far from public against the Empire and can hide on various remote planets (which didn't work for me much as a rethread in ST).
While also adressing the large scale of the world. It works for me in Andor and it works for me in Ahsoka, where I get the sense of this small hidden adventure in huge world with great implications.
So it can work for sure with clever writing and world building, but I am looking forward to get away a bit with The Acolyte. or basically pursue an era beyond the movies like Legends did. I wouldn't mind to get some good animated show like CW, Bad Batch and Rebels in the New Republic Era that is not Resistance, to expand the world at that time in a huge way (and I believe, that Gina Carano's character in animation voiced by different actress might be a posibility?) and on way less budget, while keeping the scale of everything on par with the movies – Clone Wars had some epic battles on small screen, that emulated the movie action pretty well in my opinion.

    P. S. the isolated nature worked for me with FO in TFA as an imperial remnant, until Starkiller, but still quite fine... it broke up later, when we find out that FO takes over the entire galaxy, supported by the story in Battlefront 2, where you find out that they have so much resources – destroyers in numbers, the new dreadnought and vast army of stormtroopers – to take back the galaxy with no problem. Somehow, still not enough without Palpatine's planet destroying ion cannons :D

While I am not against pushing the mysticism in Star Wars to new levels and god sounds awesome on paper, as it will make our heroes the most powerful beings in-universe (but there is always someone stronger when story dictates), I'd be actually quite sad.
One of the tropes I love about Star Wars is, that it focuses on the heroes journey, but their fate is left open and more adventures might continue.
This made the EP6 shot of the group work like magic and the fans, me included, either wondering in our heads or going to buy all that EU stuff to get the "canon" continuations. With ST, I am fine with Luke and other char stories ending, as they are old, battles of their youth behind and they still resist in final and heroic push, to support the next generation, which stories will now continue the same way beyond the movies :)
I did like the Mando S3 ending a lot, that was a textbook.

I will probably learn to write shorter paragraphs, as it must be pain to go through them everytime :D
But it's still too early for me to say goodbye to Ahsoka and with her dying two times already, first at Mortis and now it at least looks like that, even if on spiritual level, I want her adventures to continue.

And I wonder, what's the deal with Luke's Jedi Order, Fallen Jedi Baylan/Shin/Ahsoka, Ezra, the other Jedi saved by Path or surviving Order 66 and B/C tier characters from multimedia like Cal Kestis. That ST simple and small scale glimpse into Luke's new jedi order makes me drooling for more stuff, like Obi-Wan mentioning Clone Wars sitting at a coffee table and I must say that as SW fan, what we got from CW during the upcoming decades and years exceeded my expectations.

Interesting part about Anakin being the The father of mortis now. And I actually can see Ahsoka accepting her role as daughter of mortis at the end of the show. Will there be a son? Baylon, or Kylo ren just to explain why he wasn't there at the Skywalker family meeting at the end of Episode IX.

It's true that Anakin's destiny to bring ballance was offered a new perspective by The Father himself to replace him. He could either become this full fledged Mesiah with moving on to the next level of existence, or the classic Vader destiny.
If we really go by Ahsoka being the daughter, then I seriously have no theory on who to can be The Son in this relation chart.
As The Son is pure darksider or manifestation of dark side, I am not sure about Kylo Ren, he never fully embraced it like Anakin did.
Wtih everyone else, they do not fit to the relation in my opinion by the info we have so far: Darth Maul? Ezra? Dooku?
Luke and Leia are out of the option as they are one in the force and pure, but so was Anakin.

Really wonder about him having the dark robes from ROTS and Darth Vader's lightsaber. Tuesday can't come fast enough.

Mortis is what is and those who've run the force's land of the lost are a tattered mess at this point. If Anakin was in fact born for this as the father told him - then why not have his students by his side for the next 10,000 years or whatever - they aren't gods - they are simply timeless stewards of the force. Eventually, they will all be replaced again when the force wants another set of balanced and conflicting point(s) of view(s). That's how I see all the gobbledegook surrounding Mortis.

    Other random thoughts:

-Sometimes is hard to find good young actors. I like the casting of little Jacen. Better than Vizla's child.

-Oh, he looked so cool. I wanted to be a new Nien Nunb and see him in more movies and shows. Lieutenant Mowaat. Sadly, he passed away too soon (if i am correct).

-I like the amount of battle styles the characters have used in this episode. Attack and defense techniques according to its opponent style. Definetly this is something to explore in other projects of Jedi and Sith training. Maybe Acolyte will give more of this.

-The exciting of new episodes, I guess, is we will see a lot of new footage. The first 4 episodes have had the majority of trailers shots. Hope to see something different and more space battles.

-When Baylan is about to make his final attacks on Ahsoka and pushing her to the cliff, we can hear (at least I can hear it :p) the breath of Vader when is suffering in ROTJ and he barely can breath.

-A lot of interesting discussions here about WBW. Maybe is not WBW per se. Maybe is just a dream or a vision while she is unconscious. Or a state of mind. Certainly they need to explain this very well cause is not easy to enter in WBW.

-In second watch I guess Anakin didn't looked that bad but certainly it was unnecessary. If he is there, they could have used any age of Anakin. Maybe they used him to look like CW but using and older Anakin (like Hayden looks like today) also could have worked, showing who could have been or how he could be assembled if this and that... Next episode maybe we will get answers.

Wednesday morning can't come soon enough.

Jacen's actor is fine. Not extraordinary so far but don't mind him

I liked this last episode A LOT. But Mrs Derringer -- a CW and Rebels ignoramous -- was confused by the ending and was asking questions like, "Did Ahsoka fall to her death and go to heaven?"

How is a live-action-only SW fan supposed to 'get' the World between Worlds?

I totally get it must be tough for a casual fan or someone not too immersed with the lore but selfishly, I personally don't care because I for one am caught up and I feel rewarded for being fan service. It sucks for others but all I can say is maybe just check a video recapping it like I posted earlier or just let it play out and hope for the best it'll end up making enough sense

It’s also gonna vastly come down to how they present the WBW in the next episode that could make or break the non-Rebels-viewer’s approach

I imagine it'll be given some context to make it relevant to the story being told. They don't need to understand it in total. Just enough to get what's happening presently.

The WBW scene was an episode-end cliffhanger setup for ep.5. They'll explain what is needed to know in that episode, and until then, anyone who isn't already in the know gets to wonder.

It is similar to how the first episode of The Mandalorian left us all wonder: "What the Whills is this baby yoda thing about?"

Or, in the imortal word of a filthy scoundrel:

There are very few Star Wars that have out-Star Wars'd this last piece of Star Wars in the past 5 years.

I loved every second of it. Fantastic episode!

That's a similar term that I have for my sister right now, Star Wars Dummy. I'm currently savoring a well-aged dish of "told you so" because she is hooked on this show. The ending here equally confused and intrigued her, and her first thought also was that is some sort of afterlife, especially since she made the connection that Anakin is Darth Vader. She did comment that after Part 4, she is starting to feel like she is missing out on some background details, however, she also feels like any of those feelings earlier in the series have been resolved and she hopes this will too.

Exactly how she is feeling. Now, in between her and myself is her kid, who is a hardcore SW nerd-in-training, but more casual just because he is 9 years old and has, well, 9-year-old-brain... BUT, he seems to be completely following along. He got the Anakin beats, and he even got the musical bit at the end! Interestingly enough, last time he was here, he was proudly showing me how he had made his Fortnite character look like Star Wars and he had the Imperial March playing on it because it was "so cool". So I really do think this is working for all audiences.

That seems to be what they are doing and I don't see it changing. Look at Marrok- they really could have nerded out there, but the restraint worked better. He was a cool looking bad guy. Period. We knew he was an Inquisitor and what that entails, but did they need to muddy the water with all that unnecessary and irrelevant lore? Hell naw.

That is exactly why I do not believe that Mortis or any in-depth WBW lore is going to play here. We will get exactly the precise portion of info that is needed to tell this story. Now we may get a few easter eggs and "nerd nods", but that's all I expect. Another good point here is that none of us really know too much about WBW, so anything we learn will be awesome.

I'll be honest, I breathed a huge sigh of relief when Marrok turned into dust without some secret identity reveal.

Ever since the new inquisitor was introduced on the show I had a really bad feeling his appearance would lead to the shocking plot twist that Ezra was behind Marrok's mask. I thought the whole hologram thingy with Sabine in Ep. 1 was to give non-Rebels show viewers a sense of who he is and the awareness that he was a really good Jedi in order to 'set the hook.'

    Episode #4 is Legend.

The last time I was this impressed by Star Wars - Bioware dropped: "Surprise! - I am Darth Revan" on our heads.
Also, the console was just called Xbox.
