SPOILER Ahsoka - Part 4, Fallen Jedi

I really hope not.

Doesn't really jive with how we understand the WBW to work... and it just seems like such a pointlessly fanservicey thing to happen.

Idk, I have a bad feeling it will happen. Hopefully if it does, it's better than I'm expecting.

The MK-Ultra Spoiler Nerds SWEAR -- I mean S.W.E.A.R. -- that said Mustafar scene was filmed. It was an epic leak, a long time ago - word now is - that and other scenes like it are not happening. No alternative Point of Views, no coulda, woulda , shouldas - instead - they will revisit events together. I don't want any what ifs. But would be fine with Mortis trickery.

I think their visit in the WBW is going to be regret filled trip down memory lane.

We shall see.

 

Yeah, I'm really not sure what I want out of the WBW.

Like, I obviously don't want it to have some sort of canon-wiping affect, like some of the weirdo TFM do.

But I do want something meaningful to happen. Like, I don't want Ahsoka to just go around and see a bunch of flashbacks and walk away with some hackneyed slight change in perspective or something, where she decides that she wants to survive and immediately wakes up. That would feel so forced and lame.

So, I think there's got to be a reason she's seeing the WBW. I just don't know quite what it is yet.

 

My best guess is Ezra pulls her out of WBW on his unexplored side of the GFFA - so it doesn't wreck anything where she was. If she wakes up on the shore and everyone is gone - then what? Maybe she's the only WBW visitor who CAN go through a different door? Maybe she just sits there and waits for Thrawn to come back to the GFFA....

So much to consider; hope its all handled well....

Just watched it late night with the fam after 16hrs of travel so I will watch again but my 1st watch take:

The saber fights feel un-acrobatic. While I can appreciate what the actors ARE doing is awesome, these are Force-users, do a damn front-flip people!


Ray Stevenson's portrayal is the amazing. Why do the good ones get taken early?

Speculation: The Emperor came thru the WBW before somehow, what's stopping him and "Anakin"(it's Vader) from coming thru again in the same place? Or if Vader learned about it, trying to come thru himself? I know I would.

 

Could be.

I also like the idea that this could really be Clone Wars era Anakin, having pulled her into the WBW at some point (on Mortis, possibly).

He'd for whatever reason have to hide this info from her in his timeline (possibly at Ahsoka's request, to avoid her being with the Jedi during Order 66), and Ahsoka would be unable to tell Anakin what he'd eventually become.

I wouldn't mind something like that, I guess. It'd be kind of interesting to see this big, reality-altering power, and neither of them are really willing to use it to its full potential for fear of making everything so much worse.

 

It's a sad reoccurring theme that started early in life....

Found this in another forum. I totally missed this Easter egg in my first watch of Chapter 4. Really hope they're using the same actor.

So true, just a few more hours, my expectations are low, but still very excited to see another Dave Filoni directed episode.

 

Damn the third reminds me of Tartakovsky's animation.

Wasn't sold on his premeir episode of this show, but his two previous SWs episodes (Mando: The Jedi) and TBoBF: From the Desert comes a Stranger) were both A+. Crossing my fingers for another A+ one tonight.

 

I was angry at Sabine the ball to Baylon cos she desparted to see someone but it happen. And never trust a bad guy even not all lie.

Also seeing Anlkin.
