Be glad and proud that they're not showing a trailer or clips.

In regards to the rating drama, we added a disagree button for a reason. If you disagree with someone strongly enough to rate them then use your Dooku.

 

Can we stop with this notion that those who are upset there is no trailer "have no lives". My life is rich and successful. My life can still be rich, successful and well lived and I can still be disappointed there's no trailer.

Similarly those of you who are actually happy there is no trailer are perfectly welcome to feel that way and broadcast that enthusiasm. The diversity of reaction is part of our strength, not our weakness.

But, let's not assume there's a "correct" way to react to the news. There is no correct way, there is only your way and it's a reaction I'm interested to hear, no matter what side you are on.

Nobody is trying to win an argument here, there's nothing to win, there is no prize and nobody gets to claim victory. It's a conversation, not a race, not a contest and most certainly not a place of judgment or scorn.

I've watched Trailer #2 several times every day since they made the announcement we would not be getting one on Friday. It's an awesome trailer, a total home run. Yes, I can be very happy with that and still be sad there isn't a new one on Friday.

Passion runs high for Star Wars, that's supposed to be an asset not a strength. Let's not crow about our passion at the expense of diminishing someone else's.
