Snoke is cold blooded polithical leader and visionary, who in addition got power in the Dark side trough his artificcial dark cult sorcery.

He hates sentiments, he is superinteligent, evil, cruel, cold, and efficient. Snoke is best defined as a galactic Nazi.....and such is the First Order he created.

This is probabaly most absolute argument he is not old idealistic Dark Side theoretician Plagueis.

This is not actually a rebuttal, this is speculation about Snoke's attributes. See above--The quote from Snoke and the quote from the Operator are incompatible.

Do we agree Snoke created First Order from remnants of Empire?

First order is more efficcient than the Empire.

Ok I see you are trying to imply Operator (who pefectly resembles Cronal) was the one in the Aftermath who created efficient First Order, and than Plagueis jumped from his hideout and said like a Mace Windu to count Dooku in Geonosis arena : "This show is over" ,,,,problems were sentiments...":D

No, I don't agree. Where does it say that Snoke created the First Order? All we know is that he is leading it now. But I do agree that the FO seems more efficient than the Empire.
You mean the Operator, who perfectly resembles Thrawn?
Not exactly. I'm saying that the Operator and Snoke are not the same person. Possibly the Operator created the First Order, possibly he'll die before then, but I do think that he had a hand in it--as you said, the FO is more efficient. But the quotes prove he isn't Snoke.

As for Plagueis, I'll leave any talk about that to the Plagueis thread.

Did you read Aftermath and do you know the unidentified fleet admiral (the Operator) died before battle of Endor and than come back? How many returns from death we have now? Plagueis returns, Admiral returns? Or just Admiral returns? Because if its Plagueis returns, and we have canonized admiral(Operator) return, its 2 returns from death on a path to Snoke and the First Order. Isn't that to much?

I think its one and only Canon return from death--admiral, operator--its his story and his path to the Snoke.

I repeat, Admiral (Operator) return in Aftermath is Canon, and this fact of return means that he at this point already has mastered great Dark side power(at the price of course).

People have romantic view about Snoke's taking control of the First Order. in fact, the new Canon points that Snoke came to power trough fight, intrigue, and bold and cunning moves within command hierarachy of the Empire war machine. That means he was soldier, in command ranks.

First order is continuation of the Galactic Empire military. Its a military regime with tight control. It is most plausible to presume that Snoke is someone from the command hierarchy of the Former Empire. He is radical commander, a cunning chief of Imperial inteligence. How could Plagueis take control of the militaristic human regime as an alien?
Snoke is a human, at least was, a human, and fleet admiral by rank, he defromed because of his desire to obtain more power of the Dark.

Are there any links? I would be interested in seeing what role Hidalgo might have had.

Hahahaa! Okay, I see why you're so attached to this theory, lol. No, the Operator did not come back from death! You've misunderstood. People would have been all over this and excited if he had really come back from death, don't you think? But they aren't, because that's not what happened. The Operator was only presumed dead, like Obi-Wan was presumed dead for a short while by the clone troops. He faked his death, but he did not die, and Sloane and certain others know the truth. After all, having people believe that you're not around any more can be useful.

And again, his quote is incompatible with Snoke's. So Snoke is not the Operator. You haven't addressed this yet.
Quote please. I've never seen this mentioned anywhere.
No, Snoke is an alien, not a human that looks like an alien. The novel is very clear about this: "Tall and gaunt, he was humanoid but not human.
Seated in shadow, the tall, slender form loomed over the other two men." Deal with the facts.

Latest Pablo twitt from my point of view confirms Cronal discovery has hit the mark, but Pablo says we should not judge definitely about this being selfish or something untill everything revealed.

    So there is (naturaly) more.

The Cronal theory has great chances to be the real case. However, Snoke isn't in Rogue one, now confirmed. Its still possible though that Snoke somehow took over Ben M's character's body...

I see that Pablo has in fact said,:"Wait guys there is (Cronal ) in it but there is more and dont judge to early."

almost like a feeling he is refering to Plagueis fans?

here I truly want to believe they are great writers and that formation of Snoke at the end will be epic. I love Plagueis. I excavated somehow this Cronal because of passion to know is it Plagueis. If there was no Plagueis debate we will not be here now.

Cronal has in fact studied Plagueis (every who cares to be decent Dark user must study Plagueis), and there is some possibility Plagueis in fact stepped in this story somehow..I dont know. I would like to see this, just as millions of fans, it will be great.

Did Admiral(Operator) "Cronal...did he found something or summoned someone in his search for greater knowledge of the source of Dark and than some Force alchemy of essence transfer or wahetever happened....?

Snoke is a very interesting character and we all have questions about him.

As for Snoke being Cronal - NO, Absolutely No
(I remember those comics and Cronal was an autodidact Sith Lord with control over Dark Magic and a deep knowledge over technology, his entire body was mechanical. Cronal was human while Snoke is a tall Alien species. There are just too many negative aspects on the Cronal character to make it work on the big screen, to make it acceptable, magic user on Star Wars?)

Can Snoke be Darth Plagueis - It actually CAN but i don't believe they're going that way, but there's a real possibility for it
(I guess all the main characteristics over Darth Plagueis make perfect sense on Snoke, but the trend for now is leaving the SW Prequels rest and move forward so i believe the SW creative team won't link the future of SW to a prequel reference, i can see the ancient evil argument being stronger to define Snoke leaving much more room to deal with the character, either in the past or the future of SW, also the ancient evil connects perfectly with the current trend of paying respect to the old places and artifacts of the Force users. The main argument against Plagueis is that Snoke is portaid as a grey Force User, not entirely bad, while Plagueis only wanted to be one DARK Lord, i don't believe Snoke is a Sith at all)

BUT, to me there's a real question over Snoke that seems way of character, How an Alien assume control over the Empire Military Forces?
(This doesn't make any sense, it's like Martin Luther King being the KKK leader. I guess TFA estabilishes that Snoke was part of the Empire from the begining, again having an alien on a leading position in a Fascist regime, but Leia knew him and even allow Snoke to approach her son. Why Yoda didn't mention Snoke to Luke, just the Sith Master and the Apprentice? If Snoke is that powerfull how come Palpatine doesn't kill him? Do you see Palpatine obeying anyone after killing is master Plagueis and establish himself has the ruler of the galaxy?)

Because he was within command ranks of the Empire. Which defines him as The Operator/Admiral from Aftermath canon novel...which is 99% Cronal

    I guess not.

In TFA Leia knew Snoke and allow Snoke to approach her son, if Snoke was a military or decisive part of the Empire that would never happened, in the Empire times Snoke might be a Senator, or even an unknown adviser of the Emperor Palpatine, because after the Empire failed he still stayed around in the New Republic meaning no one was capable of linking him to Emperor Palpatine.

And those facts make it even harder to answer How Snoke Controls First Order?

Cronal was commander of the imperial secret service. He had links in Senate,in many aspects of New Republic. Just imagine...Empire crumbled but the net of its secret service stayed, under comand of him. Lea I think knew him from times she was in the Imperial senate. It is also interesting though maybe coincidence Operator ,99% Cronal in the Aftermath has come back from death after battle of Endor..Lea says he had an eye on her son from the begining. And Ben was born 1 year after Endor. It is also intetesting Operator,99%Cronal cooperated with early New Republic by giving them information to get rid of those he didnt liked in the Empire remnants. So we see a figure that evolved gradualy from the inteligent ambitious secret service admiral to absolute ruler of Militaristic regime who also in the process obtained powers on the Dark side which transformed his body.

Guess we have to wait and see the actual figure of Snoke, if he's 12 feet tall just forget about it because he must be an alien, no deformities transform a 6 feet to 12 feet. I really want to check Snoke figure because i won't bitte the alien theory at all, Snoke should be Human, a destroyed human but a Male Human, like the Empire/First Order standards.

I thought its widely aknowledged Snoke's real height is around 7 feet, not 12..Snoke is just above average male human height. Take 6 feet human, little Dark force squeese and little Dark force stretch and voila...say it with me Pablo.

Price payed for obtaining Dark power.

"......Cronal's heavy immersion in the dark side of the Force took a toll on him. Physically, the dark side ate away at Cronal, making him frail, shrunken......"

By this very quote, he ought to be shorter than the average human.

You have answered none of my rebuttals, and I am having a hard time believing that you want to truly be logical about this. You basically said "but Pablo's tweet!" and ignored all of my evidence. That's unkind.

Also the word is tweet, not twitt. A tweet is a post on Twitter. A Twitt is not a word, but it sounds like twit, which means "a stupid and obnoxious person". English isn't your first language, and unfortunately because of that your tend to jump to conclusions over Pablo's posts. So please look at the points I've made again, none of which you've been able to deny.

    1) "Tall and gaunt, he was humanoid but not human. Seated in shadow, the tall, slender form loomed over the other two men." Snoke is not human! I don't know why you keep insisting on this, since neither Cronal nor the Operator have to be human. But it bears saying. Every time you say Snoke is human, you are just wrong.

    2) The Operator did not come back from the dead! He fooled people into thinking that he had died, but he never died.

    3) Cronal worships the Dark, and hated his own daughter for being created, an act of Light. He can't be Snoke, because Snoke considers Kylo's beginnings in Light and Dark to be ideal. "The dark side—and the light. The finest sculptor cannot fashion a masterpiece from poor materials. He must have something pure, something strong, something unbreakable, with which to work."

    4) The Operator and Snoke have opposing viewpoints on the Empire. They cannot be the same person.
Snoke: "The historians have it all wrong. It was neither poor strategy nor arrogance that brought down the Empire. You know too well what did.”

    Ren nodded once. “Sentiment.”

“Yes. Such a simple thing. Such a foolish error of judgment. A momentary lapse in an otherwise exemplary life. Had Lord Vader not succumbed to emotion at the crucial moment—had the father killed the son—the Empire would have prevailed. And there would be no threat of Skywalker’s return today.”

Operator: "This is how it must be. The Empire became this...ugly, inelegant machine. Crude and inefficient. We needed to be broken into pieces. We needed to get rid of those who want to see that old machine churning ineluctably forward. It's time for something better. Something new. An Empire worthy of the galaxy it will rule."

    5) This theory does not address the Opera Scene's musical similarities to Snoke's Theme.

    6) You cannot say that the Operator perfectly resembles Cronal. The Operator enjoys listening to classical music. Cronal hates all creativity, and only enjoys destruction. The Operator more closely resembles Thrawn, if anyone.

If you reply "but Pablo!" again and ignore the evidence, I will know you aren't taking this seriously.
