I've saved them on my computer and uploaded them elsewhere, so I'm wondering why there hasn't been copyright claims on these images?!

 

What are some of these sites if I may ask?

To add to Viral's post -- we did see them It is our policy that we do NOT leak concept art or anything else that may harm the production as these leaks may do in the sense that people may lose their jobs as Viral stated. Only now that it has been done are we allowed to discuss what we know as it pertains to these pics. They are completely legit IMO.

 

Well @Viral Hide and @Echo-07 It's way cool you guys don't want to ruin the production and cost people their jobs! I'm glad that the staff to starwars7news.com has some class about them!!! !!! !!! That speaks volumes about this site. And I'm glad I'm a member.

Like I've said before, I've been following this site for over a year and a half ( sad to say it but yes, for a long time I was a "lurker") and IT IS the only site I follow and visit. Keep up the great work \m/

Here are my thoughts on a couple things that you mention in your posts:

1- I believe it is pretty obvious that Adam Driver is the aristocrat who collects Sith/Vader artifacts = grave robber
2- He wears a mask in tribute to Vader
3- I suspect that alot of this concept art is pretty generic because the pics of "Boyega" feature a white person
4- None of the artwork that I have seen thus far, aside from the Han Solo costume concepts, LOOK like the actor. Again generic.
5- This suggests to me that there is artwork for Luke that looks like Hamill. As we saw from the han pics mentioned above the artwork is so well done that there is no doubt in resemblence

While I like alot of the speculation going on here, as I stated before in regards to MSW's descriptions of the artwork, they are NOT Mark Hamill or Luke Skywalker IMHO.

I'd love to open this toy on x-mas morning!

 

I love the old sci-fi charm and design these concept arts ooze. It's all used, it's all crude and angular. Amazing.

It's a little bit too obvious that the cyborg character sports Mark Hamills facial features. The visible eye and mouth appear to be drawn over some stills from the original trilogy. Hopefully it's a deception.

 

Is it just me or does the creature in the concept art look like the aliens from the movie Fire in the Sky.

 

I just took a look at all the pics and the first thing that really jumped out at me was the mouth of the cyborg. After reading through the whole pic thread I saw Viral Hide and Tomvoxx also thought the same thing. Could that be Leia!??!

It definitely looks like an older, feminine mouth.

Edit: The hood has a very feminine vibe as well.

Yay! Did anyone notice the Daisy Ridley AT-AT house pic is called Binary Sunset? ;-)


Also - notice the ship covered under the tarp inside the AT-AT - I think it's a very similar concept to "Pod Falcon"

 

i'm a bit late to the party (bloody work) so i haven't had time to look at the images thoroughly..

that character isn't just holding up a trophy... there is meaning... almost emotion in that piece of artwork.
it's screaming "i'm a skywalker and this mask belongs to a relative" to me

if we discount Luke (which i am) then we're only left with Leia or the children of luke or Leia.
