Still disagree. That lip looks nothing like a woman's and the chin is metal. I think it's just a generic face and peeps are reading way too much into it. I think most of this artwork was done before actors were even cast.

I still can't believe that they would turn Luke evil. It would just ruin the whole point of his character. He's the hero. He doesn't turn like his father did. That's the entire point. Why make the whole of his arc in OT irrelevant? Continue and develop the story further. Not change it for shock factor. I don't think Disney would quite allow them to do something so risky to be honest.. and just because we haven't seen concept of Luke with a jedi beard and jedi robes doesn't really mean anything. I mean where is the concept art of Leia and where is the concept art of Han? We've seen 1 or 2 pieces with Han but none of Leia. Does that mean SHE is the cyborg? I don't think so. (Having said this, did anybody notice a tiny Han solo right at the bottom of 'milenium falcon - hangar greenwood' piece?

Actually it looks like it's just plain abandoned. Probably another place that is being scouted for Skywalker relics.

Although, that said - I wonder if Skellig Michael and Yavin are linked in some way. After all - how many different planets can we visit in this one movie? It looks like we're kicking off on Tatooine. Greenham Common is somewhere. There's a planet with snow (possibly Hoth with that wampa saber reference). And then Skellig Michael and Yavin. That's a lot of moving around.

I know 2 and 3 had more planets - more than 4?

Yes. There seems to be a "gravitational pull" based on these leaks toward mediocre EU plotlines:

1- Luke turns to the Dark Side a la Dark Horse comics
2- Someone has been resurrected inside a clone a la Dark Horse comics.

I think the idea that Plagueis or Bane found a way to "possess" or transfer their essence into a being is along the same lines admittedly, but a little more original and a little more appropriate of the saga. Right now we're all understandably trying to make sense of these pics which are largely taken out of context and still very much mysterious.

 

The Falcon is definitely getting around in this film. Concept art is showing it on: Tatooine, Greenham Common planet, Snow planet, Skellig Michael planet, etc.

Well he hasn't posted on his blog since 2013 - so he's probably been busy drawing Star Wars. Because Star Wars. ;-)

 

The binary sunset pic is just a correlation to Luke's scene in ANH, feeling like he's stuck on the planet with no way off.

Right I know there's actual story boards I mean on the web privately waiting to be released to the public.

 

Apparently he works for ILM/Lucasfilm and did work on Episode 2, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised he is doing something for Ep7. But at least we are putting real names to the concepts.
