SPECULATION Ep 8 lead character death scene

I think Hux may die but yes, the conflict between Hux and Ben would be interesting to see through out the ST. But all I know is someone is going to die in VIII.

 

If this is going to reflect somehow AOTC and TESB, I'd guess the heroes will face darker trials, but no one gets killed. I cannot tell the same about the villains.

Lol, and she needs to focus on the incoming wars, both with the Boltons to recover Winterfell for the Starks and with the White Walkers since she's got a Valyrian steel sword! (WAIT, WRONG SAGA!)

Yeah, I don't see Phasma going ahead, unless they keep her in the background. My guess goes to lose Hux this time.

That last bit (about not getting attached to any new people) sounds like the piece of advice one gives after watching Game of Thrones lol.

The only issue with Hux is that the actor who plays him said that he is very important to the trilogy apparently.

 

Yeah she's considered one.

 

My guess is that Westeros will end up governed by the Three Dragons: Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion. But it might as well ended ruled by Littlefinger lol.

 

I see Hux staying at least until IX, but he may bite it then. I hope he does. While I don't like him, I am enjoying the character.

One more though, shipping Tormund and Brienne (back to Captain Phasma!) LOL that is some fun stuff .

 

I seem to recall that Domnall Gleeson, however you spell his name, said something along the lines that if we knew his character's identity, it would spoil the entire ST... he said this very early on, and then we didn't hear hardly anything from him afterwards, almost as if he was instructed to shut up...

Strangely, after we found out he was playing "Hux" no one ever mentioned his early "slip-up" again... I can't help but wonder if he doesn't have some secret true identity yet to be revealed...

 

I keep wondering that as well, though again, they have said his father was Brendol Hux and it's not like we know a lot of women in the SW universe.

Unless, Hux's dad was the Stormtrooper guy. He may have adopted him from that and raised him as his own and he is someone else. (Speculation)......

 

Well, it could be. Actually I thought it was weird not having Domnhall in all the press conferences and interviews before TFA now that you mention it.

 

The only secret identity that I can think of off the top of my head is him being Luke's son as were the rumors at the same time...i highly doubt he'd be messing with us either but yeah, he's my number one choice tied with Phasma.

 

No one can give me advice on 'Star Wars' because nobody knows what I'm doing in 'Star Wars.'

And then at San Diego Comic-Con he let it slip that the FO base is called “Starkiller Base” - I'll bet there is more to his character, otherwise he never would have spoiled SKB. And ever since then JJ Abrams has kept him on a short leash.

Gleeson went on to elaborate a bit about what Hux will be doing in Episode VIII. “Hux will still have a major role in [Episode] VIII but I can’t explain exactly what he will be doing without spoiling anything.”

I'd wager hux as the first casualty...but then again you've all pointed to done interesting possibilities w/ him vs kylo...but i think kylo has enough conflict arcs without hux, so if a returning actor is gonna bite it its probably him.

Phasma was pumped up to us prior to vii and although it seems like she was edited into oblivion, her potential as a nemisis to Finn gives the character a lot of potential. I suspect an ep9 death for her.

I doubt snoke or Kylo will die until the conclusion of the trilogy. My hope is that snoke's backstory is amazing and different (i.e not plaugeus) and that kylo is not redeemed.

I sincerely hope Luke is not this film's casualty. If there is a trilogy after this one, and it isn't set 30 years after ep9, I'd almost be willing to bet Luke dies near the conclusion of ep10...his Kenobi moment

 

Phasma is a useless and none importent character like Hux. Story wise we have no need for them at all. Both of them should be killed of in Episode 8.

 

I can see why you'd think that, but a case could be made that both of them have great potential...hux as a rival to kylo and perhaps a great military strategist against poe and Leia, and phasma as a nemisis to Finn. Either of these could be developed and closed in ep8, but at this point these characters are no more useless than Boba in the ot, maul, grevious, or doku in the pt...like those awesome characters, these ones just need a bit of fleshing out
