OFFICIAL NEWS Episode VII Subtitle Revealed!!

I like it.. and thank god its not something cheesy like some people on this website suggested.. like - Knights Of The New Dawn or The Ballance Of The Force

 

I still think they should've went with "A Force Awakened" or "The Force Awakened". The almost-cheesiness tone is probably a nod to the OT and old school story telling.

 

See I think they are talking about the Force 'plurally' meaning Luke, Leia, and probably the next generation of Skywalkers. Everyone is assuming that just because the Force Awakens, that Luke & Leia haven't trained their offspring in the past 30 years. I think the Force Awakened means that this is the first real threat (most likely another Sith) in 30 years, and the Force is the only thing that can battle it.

 

To be honest, I like it

- The Empire survives Death Star 1 and attacks the Rebels on Hoth
- The Emperor & Vader search for Luke and his ultimate defeat

Return of the Jedi
- Return of Luke on Tatooine
- Return of Anakin Skywalker
- Luke confronting The Emperor & Vader

The Force Awakens
- Plagueis is awaken and hell breaks loose
- Luke is found and forced out of his exile
- New force sensitive people (bad & good) are called by The Force
- A new "Force" is awaken and it compromises the Alliance.

 

Someone make an alarm clock/app that:

-Has a countdown to TFA
-Says 'May the force be with you' upon programmed bedtime
-Plays the Star Wars theme upon Force awakening every morning

I will buy one.

Yeah, DARK AWAKENING sounds a little like Nolan and his batmovie titles, but that wasn't on my mind when I originally wrote it. I was instead thinking on how things gonna get bad after RETURN OF THE JEDI ended so happy and optimistic.

The Force Awakens is not just a title for Episode VII but a theme for the whole trilogy.
The Phantom Menace theme was about the Sith secretly seizing power and taking over the Republic and forming an Empire.
A New Hope theme was about Luke discovering the Force and ultimately becoming a Jedi.

 

Obiwan = Herschel

Han Solo = Rick Grimes

Lando = Shane

Luke = Glenn

Chewy = Darryl

Leia = Lori

Darth Vader = The Governor

Who was it that said they had confirmed that episode 7 would be the first Star Wars movie with a one word title? I forget. They were obviously wrong!

 

WOW!! I can't believe I miss this Big News!
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. I am perfectly ok with that title, Though it will still take getting used to. But that news sure hit me like an Express train. lol

 

Who is he and why does he know so much? If indeed he does...
