It's pure attention seeking click bait. That journo knows full well a headline like that will get traffic and comments.

Yeah, that guy that wrote that sounds like he only likes the original unaltered film. And he probably "liked it before it was cool."

Additionally, I'm going to assume he probably has no kids of his own, or nieces and nephews to give him perspective.

    Boyega in a recent interview...
    upload_2015-10-9_12-0-48.png
So. 1) JJ is watching youtube videos about what the fans are saying
    2) and no one has guessed correctly
    3) Apparently they are unaware that someone has the shooting schedules and made a plot outline (sarcasm)

The first search result on youtube for the term "force awakens spoiler" is this video:

Which is bs. If thats the type of videos Boyega is reffering to then, color me unimpressed

I don't think anyone working on a movie generally leans back and says "we're done" until it's actually come out (and if you're George Lucas you don't say "we're done" until 30-some-odd years later when you've sold the movies to Disney). Last minute post-production goes on right up till deadline.

Personal opinion: With the "powers" comment made I think he is referring to superiors or authority not the force. Remember that he is from the UK and for those over in America and maybe some other places we think powers = force, but I don't think that is what he is saying here.

Well, maybe not LITERALLY...for the love of God. But there is always a point in a project when you stop, like working on a painting and you sign the canvas and know you are finished. There is that moment when months of hard work is over, and you are ready for your work to be seen. THAT is what I meant.

Plus, Smuggler's Run strongly implies that Han and the Millennium Falcon have parted ways from each other for a while.

I'm guessing the people who say they know the story to star wars are full of... sith.

If they had really known that much then we'd have at least known basic things like the names of main characters during shooting.

I even suspect some of the shooting was done very secretively, like as in on location shoots in areas we haven't heard of yet.

I wonder if that quoted running time of about 124 minutes was with or without credits..

Interesting if misguided. No one is going to make someone go see a film that they don't want to, but to write an entire article about said film stating that you wont see it is actually rather childish and it actually gives other people permission to ignore your opinion. For example, when I was in school, there were several kids who would proudly state that they had never seen Star Wars, this usually led to them teasing kids that did like it. My response to them was "thank you for giving me your permission to ignore your opinion on this subject then". What a person is essentially doing in this case is touting their ignorance as something to be proud of, implying that they are some special unique little snowflake. That isn't to say that they would like necessarily like Star Wars if they saw it, but being proud of one's ignorance is something else entirely, and is frankly, really childish. On the other hand, I'm sure there are other people out there who have no interest in this film(and Star Wars in general probably) and won't end up going to it, that's just fine, nothing is for everyone, but the mature people of this group won't proudly tout their ignorance either ;).

It's not unusual for a director to mention the running time WITHOUT credits during the editing process. So if it stays at 124 minutes, the final running time could come out at around 134 minutes (including credits).

But if Rey has had years of practice flying it... why does she stay on Jakku? Does she have some kind of slave tracking device, where if she attempts to escape, "they blow [her] up, boom!"? Or is she waiting around for someone? If she owns the Falcon, couldn't she just sell it or something, instead of having to deal with Unkar Plutt and his thugs?

And they killed off the wrong character!
We hardly got time to know quicksilver... his death didn't mean anything. Killing off Hawkeye, especially after meeting his family and giving him something to live far would have had a far greater impact, while also allowing them to replace another older character with some young blood in future films...
