The Force is not a character. It's a metaphysical concept which does have a will of its own, but it's not a distinct character. The Force can awaken in someone, but it is not a person by itself. Conversely, A New Hope refers to Luke Skywalker and The Phantom Menace refers to Sheev Palpatine. The Force Awakens describes the Force doing... something, because they haven't made it clear. But the title isn't something like The Redeemer Of The Force or The Force's Savior, which is why I don't think it fits the same mold that the others do.

And again: that script is a fake. It was always a fake. And if you think that Disney would let an entire leaked script of theirs float around for months without quietly taking action or quickly suppressing it, then you're sorely mistaken.

Post redacted. Being an uber jerk isn't the right response to rude behavior

If you took offense to my post, then I apologize, but bear in mind that I had no intention of coming across as rude when I wrote it. I might speak authoritatively, but the absolute last thing that I want to do when I post on this site is to come across as a dick.

Just an idea, but if there's no time skip, the ship may be Hux and Kylo arriving at Snoke's base of operations after the destruction of Starkiller Base, and then we cut back to Ach To.

That's something that I think could - and should - happen. They're making a big deal about Luke and Rey's first meeting, but thus far, the movies have consistently featured an opening shot of a spaceship, even though they've broken tradition with the way that titles are formatted and even if there's an opening crawl or not. There's no sense in showing the Millennium Falcon land on Ahch-To again, given that that was one of the last shots of the previous film and this story is the first immediate Star Wars sequel. The whole Rey-Luke thing is important, but so is what happened with the primary antagonists of the last movie (and Captain Phasma).

I saw the second out of seven films that Rian Johnson used as sources of inspiration for The Last Jedi. This time, it was Letters never sent, a Soviet film from 1959 about a group of geologists trying to find diamonds in the middle of Siberia. So far, both this film and Three Outlaw Samurai surprised me in a positive way. This time, we got a tale of sacrifice for greater cause, which is a prevailing theme in Star Wars in general and man's struggle against the nature, something that hasn't been touched upon too much, maybe except for some The Clone Wars episodes and a two minute section from Episode V. Also, I love the way this film was shot - it was full of energy, very dynamic. I hoped that watching these films would give some answers about Episode VIII, but so far they have only raised more questions, which is actually a good thing. Five more to go!

doubt this happened. It would make Luke look like a fool. Not only Ben turned under his eyes, but also more of his students.

I agree. The fact that he wasn't present when the attack - if the attack in Rey's vision is the attack, anyway - happened, perhaps he'd already given up on his NJO?

I don't think that the fact that the cosmic Force has been dormant for thirty years, since the end of ROTJ up until the awakening in TFA, should be taken for granted.

But he would say that after all he is a bit biased he is hardly going to say it rubish.

But I'd they have a cuthink of the film ready for viewing then maybe a trailer at SWC is not so improbable
