Where did this reincarnation theory even start ?

 

I think it started because Rey, in TFA, is basically Anakin from TPM.

 

I know lol I meant who do you know that started it ?

 

Oh! I read a similar theory like a week or so after the release...Don't remember where though.

 

Huh yeah it sounds like a fun "what-if" but NO .

I know it's ridic, but there's something crazy about it that I like. I can't put my finger on it. For one thing it would be unheard of and new. I also like the idea of it refering to the PT and it seeming more like a section of an overarching Saga, rather than the start of a new saga, which is what TFA feels more like to me.

But yeah, it's ridiculous...but I think thats why I like it!

I think it has the potential to be awesome...and also has the potential to be the stupidest thing since JarJar.

 

Windu was not going to WIN that fight with Palpatine. Palpatine played weak in order to make the Jedi look even worse in Anakin and the Publics eye. saying Mace could defeat Palpatine is like saying he could defeat Yoda and even Yoda at the end of his confrontation with Palpatine was running away whimpering for someone to send reinforcements. The Jedi were playing checkers while Sidious was playing chest. At the time he had complete control over the Droid and Clone armies, He had 100% approval rating as a politician and was beloved by the entire galaxy making it easy for him to persuade a senate that never fully trusted the mysterious Jedi order to begin with that the Jedi were in league with Count Dooku( his Fall guy and former Jedi) and the people responsible for the droids. Jedi are not GODS they can be killed the same way anyone can so even 1000 of them would not stand a chance against The Galaxy, Palpatine and ALL his resources.

 

I thought her there were 10,000 Jedi that were spread across The Galaxy ...

 

All I can hear is the ROTJ special addition Vader - No!

 

Are you talking about before or after order 66? Because I honestly don't remember how much there were before the Order was made but I do know most( but not all) the Jedi were killed because Star Wars rebels and Mace Windu supposedly making an appearance in episode VIII or IX strongly supports that there were survivors of Order 66 but not enough to take on the Emperor, his deadly right hand and his empire.

 

I meant before The Order 66 because MACE WINDY says in AORC that "We only have _________ Jedi spread through the Galaxy...we are keepers of the peace, not soldiers ."

 

The mental image of Rey being Luke and Leia's mother and Kylo's grandmother is cracking me up

 

If Windu and 50 jedi would've confronted Palpatine in the front of a great crowd, he couldnt've pick a fight against them, or he'd had revelad himself in the front of whole Coruscant. There were like 10.000 jedi vs 1 sith, and the Force needed one ,,chosen one" to kill him, despite Windu (and probably 100s of other masters) was clearly a lot stronger... What a bunch of bantha poodoo. And btw, the ,,chosen one" literally put the evil guy in power, without a ,,chosen one" the great unbalance couldnt've even occurred. Either they really misuderstood that prophecy (despite the fact that the future is always in motion is unpreditctable according to OT Yoda, and the jedi can see the future it seems they still use prophecies) or it makes absolutely no sense at all.

Yoda was also a prick in the prequels. Palpatine got in power in the front of their stupid eyes (but, yea the dark side made them mentally chanllengd I guess, but if Palpatine can make them stupider, than why couldn't he also weaken them physically?)
Yoda could't even win a single fight (not even against Dooku, a 100 years old guy), and went into hiding for no real reason at all. He lost against Sidious after their first confrontation, so what? Get a new lightsaber and try untill you win or die! Or get a rifle and assassinate him a couple of weeks later or something... But yeah, waiting untill he conquers the whole galaxy and sending an untrained guy vs him, his own father and the whole empire was a better idea I guess...

 

Anakin "The Chosen One, The Force Avatar, Space Jesus LOL" proposed to Mace the idea of taking Palpatine before a great crowd and exposing him for what he was. Heck Anakin was the one who reported to the Jedi council that Palpatine and Sidious were one in the same. MACE was the one who played right into Palpatines hands and allowed his fear, anger and moral hypocrisy to be used as a weapon against him. MACE was trying to perform a hostile takeover of the Coruscant Senate because (he believed) the senate would not make Palpatine/Sidious stand trial for his war crimes. Mace's actions were not befitting of a Jedi Master and went totally against the Jedi code which ANAKIN was trying to remind him. A Jedi's role is to be a keeper of the peace not to be Judge, Jury and EXECUTIONER. That was the senates job. Like I said before Palpatine used the Jedi's arrogance and hypocrisy and the promise of teaching Anakin Darth Plagueis's mysterious methods of preserving, restoring and giving life in swaying Anakin to the darkside. Palpatine was in control since episode I.

 

I have nothing to add that already hasn't, I am IN LOVE with this theory!

 

Anakin did not propose anything, he only said Palpatine was a sith. And since the prequels are written with a skill of an elementary school student, Windu confronted him in his office with only 3 jedi without any witness at all.

He should've waited in the fornt of his office with 50 jedi ready to arrest him in the front of a great crowd. Or if he wants to kill him, than assassinate him in secret. Send like 20 jedi (or hire assassins) and kill him when he sleeps, if he fights back, record it and show the Senate that he is a sith.
Or blow up his office. OR take Anakin in the front of the Senate to testify Palpatine's identity. However there wasnt even any secrecy needed, Palpatine was a sith so he can manipulate people. Kill him and tell the Senate he was manipulating them. And so on. There were like 100s of possible variations how he could've been easely defeated with or without the ,,chosen one". But ofc the plot armor made Anakin chose between him or Windu without anyone witnessing it...

Still without the ,,chosen one" Palpatine couldnt' ve even got in charge. If 10.000 jedi cant defeat a stronger sith without a ,,chosen one", than they are just a bunch of useless idiots who deserved to be wiped out from the Repulic. What if there were like 100 Palpatine like siths? Than not even a thousand ,,chosen one" could've done anything...

 

Reincarnation doesn"t work like that. It's about spirits and souls not about body.

 

He's talking about the soul (snaking Skywalker) being back in the form of another gender while still being kylo's grandma and Leia's mom instead of dad now .
