    Makes me wonder if "completing Kylo Ren's training" involves teaching him ancient DS knowledge/techniques? Also I'd LOVE to see Morriband on-film finally.

    He seems most powerful in manipulating people to follow the path he wants them to go (like the devil in someone's ears) with an incredible knowledge how to concentrate unhealthy amounts of the dark sides energy to keep his half dead substance alive over decades. Perhaps, like others posted several times, he was the puppet player even behind the fights between the Sith and the Jedi.. just waiting in silence for the moment until there are no strong force users left any more. He needs Luke and Rey to be killed by Kylo and afterwards he needs the physical substance of a young force sensitive being to establish himself as the one and only powerful force user..
    trying to gain control over the living force and as many of its manifestations as possible.

    Lolz. I could see Disney pulling that off. Emperor Palpatine was fused with the Death Star's radioactive particles during its explosion and somehow became immortal. Explains the scars. (I'm laughing so hard right now).

    Snoke is the way he is because The Death Star tested its lasers that were built using Kyber Crystals which shot him up with dark side particles and that is how Palpatine FINALLY a created life ...
