snoke is confirmed not human, snoke is apparently 7 foot tall, and snoke has a bloody british accent. nothing about ezra fits.. i think it's an interesting theory but there is no possible way snoke=ezra.

Also Snoke doesn't seem like the type to come from a place of "optimism."

exactly.. i feel like too many people are getting obsessed over snoke's identity.. and it's going to ultimately lead to severe disappointment for those who won't budge from their theories.

Ok, sorry for not reading the previous 5 pages, but I felt like weighing in (apologies if this has already been addressed).

Is Ezra Bridger Snoke? No, for several reasons, but allow me to elaborate on one in particular: Rebels, and all tie-in media, will always have a degree of separation between them and the movies. Yes, the canon is "solid" now and everything has ties to everything, but the movies will always take precedent over the rest. For the same reason that we didn't get new movies steeped in the old canon, we won't get them steeped in the new: the people who are crafting these movies will never be beholden to what the EU is doing. The movies are essentially created in a vacuum, buy which I mean they have total creative freedom to craft characters and locales; the EU has this to a degree, but, now that things are centralized at Lucasfilm, they will always defer to what the movies have done/are doing.

So what do I mean by this? Let's take the cross-saber as an example. We all know that at some point this season, Ezra will hold a green cross-saber and we'll likely get an explanation for its history, shedding light on something that was introduced in TFA. You'll never see this happen in reverse, where Ezra discovers something (like a cross-saber) and then the movies borrow it. It's just basic marketing and development; you'll always he rewarded for reading/watching EU content, but it will never be mandatory for what's going on in the movies.

So if Snoke's backstory plays into the plot of future movies (and it almost assuredly will), then it will be left for the movies to explain, not a television show that starting airing months before Snoke was even introduced on-screen. Will we maybe get a cameo from Snoke on Rebels? Once we know more about his history, maybe; it's the reason that Lando or Leia can appear in an episode, because we already know the context of where their characters are/where they're heading.

This works for TV content as well; Ezra was an original character for Rebels, and his story will be told either through the show or subsequent shows (like Ahsoka). He'll appear in other works, like comics or possible games, but he'll never be a main character in the movies (unless they make a Rebels anthology movie, but they seem to have that covered with Rogue One).

On the other hand, there was another character that was introduced in the films that we know very little about (especially within the new canon), and his name is Plagueis.... ;)
