In regards to 1) Perhaps there is still a lot of antiforce users sentiment out in the in galaxy, after all the era of Jedi as champions of the republuc passed with Order 66.

In regards to 2) Maybe the KOR approach using the force in a different way to Snokie. Eg. The KoR could perhaps use dark and light sides to achieve their own ends, and Snoke is an ancient bad ass Sith who secretly looks down on them for it, as they don't realuse the true power of the darkside. Or perhaps he is just using them to his own design, and distains them for falling for his BS.

that would certainly explain part of Hux's obvious disdain.

yeah, i think there's something interesting in that. since we don't know the relationship between Snoke and the KOR or Snoke and the Sith, all sorts of politics could be involved. i strongly feel like Snoke uses the KOR as a bone to throw at Kylo Ren to prop him up in some fashion. the read i get on the line is: "hey, Big Deal, you've never faced anything like this before, good luck sucker!" hahaha.

I have the feeling they might not necessarily have to operate in a group. Some of them might be sleeper cells. ;) If Snoke is any good, he would change the hierarchy within the knights of Ren on a whim.

Agreed, the title of "Master of the KoR" belongs to Kylo due to him being Snoke's favoured pupil rather than an ultimate position of authority. No doubt the hierarchy is not very rigid which would make for more interesting interactions between the KoR. Although hopefully not to the extent where they're backstabbing each other all the time as I really detest that villain trope, makes them seem ridiculous and stupid when they behave like that.

Exactly. I want to avoid that scenario with the KoR, assuming they are a collection of force users that is. Hopefully Snoke saw the problems of the Sith doctrine and decided to implement rigorous team building exercises.

"team building" hahaha ~ i'm having flashbacks of Palpatine in Robot Chicken.

but i really do hope the KOR are a well-organized and focused machine and that Kylo Ren is their legitimate and apt Master.

that kid needs something going for him.

That's what I was thinking of as well tbh.

Oh, don't get me wrong on Kylo. I'm sure he is the most powerful/gifted of the KoR but I don't think they elected him their leader or anything like that, Snoke likely appointed him because of his talent and the KoR probably respect his strength but that doesn't guarantee that they respect him.

If Snoke did force the KoR to do team building exercises then Kylo was definitely the spanner in the works in every exercise. If that undercover Starkiller boss thing is canon then it was probably part of Snoke's training for Kylo.

I like it how everytime Hux and Kylo are in each other's presence in the movie they 'man up'. First it is Kylo who has the upper hand, but near the end of the movie it is Hux who forces Kylo to 'man up'. Especially that scene where Kylo explains to Snoke that he could still get the map out of the girl with Snoke's guidance. Hux enters the conference room, Kylo 'mans up' :p. Snoke knows this, that Kylo feels shame. I can imagine him using it to streamline Snoke supremacy over the knights of Ren and Kylo's position as its leader. All are dependent on the benevolent approval of the Supreme Leader. The Supreme Leader can deliver, but he can also take away.

Snoke's going to have to separate those two. i'm surprised Kylo Ren managed to not go off on him in that last scene ~ hahaha.

i hate Hux. i really hate Snoke.

this is why i want the KOR to be something really cool and scary and not another case of bad FO/Snoke resource management.

When I saw Gleeson again in the Revenant it really made me laugh. I think Hux has an eye for that female technician in the starkiller control room. I called it!!!!!

Don't worry, there are seven(?) of them after all, plenty of people for diverse opinions and personalities. You could have the rival KoR who treats Kylo like blast; the more respectful ones who obey Kylo's commands without question; a lone wolf one who ignores him etc. I'm hoping that the KoR will live up to the mystery that is surrounding them at the moment but I don't know how they'll handle them while still giving the main crew the majority of the screen time.
