I saw "Sometimes I think About Dying" today. On one hand it was a bit boring, but then it's supposed to be given the fact it's partly about a dull character who starts to come of her shell. But on the other hand I have been thinking about it ever since I saw it. It's a very subtle and nuanced film with plenty of food for thought. Daisy gives a stellar performance and is probably one of 3 actors whose film/tv show I would watch just to see her act.

And it appears as if "Young Woman and the Sea" will be coming to theatres in May for a limited theatrical release:

Kylo Ren fans aren't popular with much of the SW fandom; I've been banned from one forum because I like him, chose to leave another because of the hate there and also ended up rowing with someone I met who was a huge Han Solo fan - you know why! (I'm a Han fan myself, always have been).
This forum has been far more dignified and kind, but let's face it, I'm part of a minority group, and I've accepted that.

I don't think you are even thought of as a "Kylo Ren fan" here. Just a fan. But, like most fans, you have opinions. And there happens to be a constantly flowing two way street regarding expressed opinions of any sort, type or nature. I'm not even remotely aware of Kylo fans being any less popular or unpopular than any other type of fan. I'm sure a staff member can confirm that more than one member here has a variation of Kylo in their user name and or avatar.

Kylo is certainly not unpopular. And I think I can speak for many people here in saying that we welcome anyone with a passion for any particular character. As they tend to shine a light on them brighter than anyone else. Often simulating positive and constructive discussions that might not necessarily happen otherwise.

When people here are challenging the accuracy and validity of your comments about Disney as employers, or what George supposedly thinks about something or other, and proclaim what everybody does or should conclude about them, you needn't apply the content or perceived tone or motivations of any feedback you received to anything other than the actual comments themselves.

I mean, Kylo (and Ben) is a pretty swell character, and good-looking to boot :D

And I simply love this relationship and the actor's chemistry!

Most people (who like and as well dislike the ST) agree on one thing: Adam Driver and Kylo Ren being the best thing the ST has to offer. So, you are definitely not part of a minority group.

Yes, they DID have a chemistry, even the critics said that.

Low budget 'indie' films are a good way of getting experience in acting.

Daisy's been nominated for her performance on an audio book called "Someone Else's Shoes'. I actually downloaded it from audible, not the kind of book I naturally gravitate to but her performance/reading is very well done. She should try comedy one day.

She had good comic timing with Boyega in TFA.

Well sadly Daisy didn't win for her performance in "Someone Else's Shoes' (which actually turns on out to be very, very good!) But she is being highly spoken of for her performance in Magpie at SXSW. I look forward to seeing it:

The Rey movie is set almost 40 years after the events of the Ahsoka show. So I highly doubt she will be part of that story.

I hope this movie has mainly new characters and only a few returning ones.

Personally I think the only character from the ST who will be returning is Rey. They might bring back John Boyega, but I really think this is going to be Rey's film, or she will at least be the lead character and the rest of the cast will be 'newbies'. Hence the 15 year age gap.
