As it seems, the mystery of the orange crates is still under discussion!

So what is it all about having the orange color marking all of the different small and large containers in the AT-ACT, the carrier shuttle and those tank transported ones?

Ah, last Saturday I went to the same store that was void of any R! stuff at force Friday, but then they had every new R1 Lego set on display. It was so hard to resist buying everything right on the spot.

Although studying the TIE Striker box, I was still not able to find out what will make that model distinct from other TIE variants besides having a separate bunk/storage part in the rear of the pod. This, and that it can move its wings up and down like a flapping bat.

Ah good pickup! Finally spotted the Y wings too when they are on the planet going for an attack run.

Wonder if we will see any B or A wings.

    Yep right.

Depends on where those wings are, the Rebels are still scattered all over the place.

Wow, sharply spotted. I missed those so far. Great that they now made their first appearance in the “real” SW world. Actually, after the analysis in the morning I recognized that I mistook the rounded one for Mon Calamari Cruiser, but they seem to be the standard medium rebel transports. What do you need those in a space battle for, as troop landers?

I wonder if these are the 5 (?) Y-Wings Ezra & Co donated to Dodonna's Yavin cell?!

They joined in Return of the Jedi too. They are unarmed but the fleet needs fuel and supplies.
Pretty sure since he is in the movie;).
"We have orders to deliver these bombers to General Dodonna's unit. They're part of a wider rebellion we're working to build."

Yeah, that already irritated me back then. Normally, you won’t put supply vehicles in the front line. Keep them in the back for refueling runs, or you will get more targets to be shot down without proper shielding and weaponry.

I'm not sure if they really have an option. The more targets the merrier, best protection;) , and everything is better then not reaching the second Deathstar. Still better then leaving them unprotected.

Hm, the poor rebellion always has to use these hive tactics as herrings vs. sharks. Luckily, some of the ships will bite back.

I’m very excited to see more than one Nebulon-B frigate, and hopefully they will exchange shots with the imps and not just act as medical vehicles as in RoTJ. They were always one of my favorite designs.

Ah, those old X-Wing vs. TIE fighter feelings are coming back.

I love that we will see orbital platforms of the empire, connecting the planet side facilities with the space construction side of the supply chain. This was always something I wanted to see.

    Yeah when I saw this
    scarif bunker entrance.jpg
and the circular space station I thought maybe both are part of a space elevator to bring heavier parts into space in an effective way.

That would be impressive, most impressive! But I think most of the shipment will be done by the already shown 4-wing cargo shuttle, that seem actually well armed and with an already discussed entry ramp (with those white corner markings).

I can't wait for this, seeing an AT-ST walking through the streets is just so menacing.

I don’t think so. That structure looks quite finished, look at all the turbolaser towers spread around the ring structure. I assume it’s an orbital platform for whatever purpose (supply, defense, repair, all of it).
