SPOILER New Plot and Character Rumors!

Listen, Kyle's posts are amongst the most entertaining on this board. But, let's face it, most of his "information" has been proven wrong. Therefore, he either doesn't have any sources and he's just making it all up, or his sources are bad and not worth paying any attention to. Either way, I think time has eliminated Kyle as a credible source of information on "The Force Awakens." Anyone who has followed these boards can tell you that that is the truth.

Amongst the myriad of things Kyle has gotten wrong:

- Domnhall Gleeson is Han & Leia's son (wrong)
- Lupita is a politician (wrong - she is likely voicing a puppet)
- Max Von Sydow is the big baddie at the end (wrong he is on the desert planet at the beginning in a supporting role)
- Max Von Sydow is narrating the trailer (wrong - it is Andy Serkis)
- That "The Force Awakens" is "100%" based on George Lucas' treatments (wrong - Lucas himself said his treatment was rejected)
- Rey is the apprentice of Luke prior to TFA, and not Han and Leia's offspring (while nothing is conclusive on this front, it is most likely the exact opposite of what Kyle is saying on both these fronts according to the best available sources - Mizzlewump, MSW, and Viral Hide)

Honestly, Kyle has gotten more things wrong than Spoilerman (and Spoilerman is banned from this board). I hope he keeps writing because he's a decent speculator, but I long ago stopped taking "his sources" seriously.

We literally know nothing. We THINK and SPECULATE on RUMORS, there is nothing solid.

Please watch it when you walk the line of calling me a liar. I pass along information I hear from people I feel are credible. I have been wrong about some things, and I have owned up to them all as soon as they are proven wrong. That litany of yours above offers nothing but speculation you are using to debunk me.

Kyle Peace my friend. Anyway, the red herring machine is very well greased. I am telling you, the experience Disney wants you to have on December 18th is the one some of us had back in the late 70s early 80s, long before the internet.

That's their #1 CONDITION OF SUCCESS .

That's why I am telling you... I predict.... there will be ONE MORE trailer in May... and it will SOOOOOO dissapoint you.

It will mostly show REY..... and a glimpse of Han, and Chewie, just to catch the feminine demographics and the original Star Wars fans that passed over the PT.

I wholeheartedly agree that we know very little about TFA. However there is some stuff that is "solid." Max Von Sydow is not narrating the trailer, nor is TFA based "100% on Lucas' treatments." Lupita is very likely playing a puppet according to both Making Star Wars and Star Wars Underground, two sites that are amongst the most reputable out there. Viral Hide, another source I trust greatly has not repudiated this rumor. SWU has also stated that Gleeson is likely an imperial, and judging by certain casting trends in Hollywood, I'm inclined to agree. But we don't know for 100% certainty. Except for Kyle...

Kyle on Isaac:

Isaac plays a Han Solo like character who just happened to stumble onto owning the Millenium Falcon as it passed through scrap yards over the years. Luke hid something on the Millennium Falcon that brings Daisey Ridley and Boyega to the Falcon. They can't find it, so they pay Isaac to take them to Han, on the ship he commands now. When Han sees his old ship, plus learns Ridley was a Jedi in training who might be the best chance at finding Skywalker, he resigns his command and leads the way aboard the Falcon. Along with Chewie, Isaac pilots them. He and Han have a testy relationship, and Han makes frequent jabs at Isaac about what he has done to the Falcon. From what I heard, the Falcon is not in great functional shape.

Don't know the fate of the character, but I don't think anyone in this film is safe except Daisey Ridley"

Honestly, I think I like Kyle's version better than the likely true narrative. They should have hired him to work on the treatment.

 

There are ways around her name. It is simple. She was adopted. Yes it has been done. But there is a reason she is somwhere on this desert planet with a alias. Somone important for sure

 

Drumroll Gleeson is playing a Young Palpatine. What's really funny about it is that he was born like days before/after the Character "died" in ROTJ

In other words, we still don't know anything, as nothing is offical via LucasFilm/Disney/Bad Robot. Until there is an offical release we take everything with a grain of salt.

So Kyle is saying that Han doesn't die because his character is going to be in the Solo/Boba Fett spin-off movie? I thought this movie was about a younger Han and would be another actor? It's timeframe wouldn't take place after TFA.

 

To me, this is where the “Catapult” comes into play. Tossing a Hoth-like world into a different system and turning snow to desert… massive climate change from a massive weapon, that we likely hear about in the beginning scroll. @Kyle @MakingStarWars @Viral Hide can check on that one.
That’s scary. It would be like if earth got tossed out to Saturn range…things would not be the same. If anyone even survived the “toss”, which they likely wouldn’t, the Earth would still exist but likely in a different form altogether.
Whether new inhabitants could arrive and colonize is another thing though. This would explain carcasses and crashed vehicles and “villages” as opposed to cities, etc.
Also, I think cooling it on calling people out on sources is a good move…ive stated several times that all “debunking” is pretty useless at this point, and all that is going to cause is for our “leakers” or “rumor mill” guys to leave the boards and the discussions will drastically decrease, thus the population of the boards will decrease, thus a bunch of people having nothing to discuss other than Darth Plagueis' dead ass….

I could buy Domhnall Gleeson playing a younger version of Palpatine, but here's the sixty-four-thousand-dollar question: If your suspicions are indeed correct, would he be playing Palpatine in a flashback? Or would he be playing a clone of Palpatine?
