Ok... I know that I'm slow, but... Why do people here and on the internet believe the Night Troopers to be dead/zombies?

(I would've thought that their beat-up equipment -- like the shoddy state of Chimera itself -- is supposed to signify the fact that they've all been out of circulation for about a decate, and on a dangerous world, nonetheless.)

I don't see the Zombie Armie/Dead Men of the Dunharrow-esque angle to these logistics-lacking troops, tbh.

Yeah, I think it all goes back to your buddy Jason at MSW. He dropped a leak about the Kinsugi-style Stormtroopers and that they were the Canonized version of the Legends Deathtroopers.
I'm still not convinced that there isn't some contingency of undead there somewhere, simply because it would go a long way, ok, the whole way, to explain Marrok. I'm perfectly fine with that just being that, but I feel like so much of this series has been so well set up for casual viewers that Marrok had to serve some sort of purpose as foreshadowing.

When does the crossover movie start filming and might release? The strike is finally over or soon will be right? So perhaps good news

Is that still supposed to be theatrical or disney plus original?

There has been no schedule discussion and a speculative timeframe is very confusing depending on who you listen to and how you interpret the term "years". Common speculation is that it would be after Ahsoka S2, Mando 4 or 5 and possibly 2 seasons of Skeleton Crew.

As far as the Strikes, the WGA strike is over, so projects like "The Rey Movie", Lando, and other Pre-production project can continue writing and such, but SAG is still striking so no actors are able to return to work yet.

I want it stated for the record that Jason Ward of MSW is not my buddy! ;) I remember the kinsugi Stormtrooper leak, but not the Death Troopers thing. That's interesting.

We don't really know, but I a theatrical release is a solid bet, IMHO. Three dates are currently reserved for SW films -- May and December of 2026, and December of 2027 (unless something has changed that I've missed). Assuming that the Filoni film is the first one up, and assuming a two year production, they'd have to start filming sometime next spring.

EDIT: Also... @MBWilson beat me to it ;)

Maybe it's not important, but it's still kinda bugging me how Ezra and Thrawn separate/survive initially. I mean, last we saw them he was tangled in space whale arms. Some 20 years later Ezra is with crab people and Thrawn built an army? Where's the logic in those two events?

The journey from our Galaxy FFA to Peridea is quite long, even with oversized hyperdrives. Who knows what happened during the whole flight ?
At one moment, we may assume that, even with the Force, Ezra has to face Thrawn and an entire garnison of stormtroopers. He has a saber no more.

There is none. Why did the Night mothers fail to locate him sooner? The force is his ally, surely Ezra used it at some point; if not meditated regularly to keep from losing his mind in that barren place. 9 years. Has Thrawn been exploring? Are there other planets within that star system? Ezra has red robes and trooper dog tags - does that mean he has killed BOTH troopers AND nightsisters? So many questions because, 9 years.

    Plenty important to me.

Ahsoka Finale seems to be 46 minutes long, with 42 aprox for screentime.

Season 2 must be on the way..

Today is the day! I really hope there's a season 2 and I'm surprised because I didn't care about Ahsoka getting her own show and ony watched the 1st show to be fair and because it's star wars but now I really love this show. Not my favorite but a top show

So... could there be a connection between the Acolytes of the Beyond, the Great Mothers of Peridea, and the Sith Cultists who ressurects Palpy on Exegol?

Could the Great Mothers be the connective tissue between the Acolytes and the Cultists? And might Beylan be affiliated with the Acolytes in some way, trying to transition that groups endeavors and goals into becoming the Cultists (i.e., by infusing the non-force sensitive Acolytes into true Dark Side Cultists via the Great Mothers' witchery?)?

Ahhh the last breaths of Ahsoka s1. Both tragic and exciting.

I fully hope for s2, and believe there will be one.

I hope for an impactful, emotional, expositional final episode.

But we all know how this ends:

    Thanks for everything Ray, RIP.

These are my high hopes for LFL to wake up, plan hard and maybe, which is me being super optimistic, the three announced movies won't be as disjointed as they seem as they have planned the connective tissue in advance. Maybe through whatever it is that Baylan finds at the end of his journey.
Step in the fallen angel Sauron/or something greater than the Jedi, Sith, all those star conflicts and Mortis Gods into the Star Wars galaxy, who was there at the beginning (Manigold movie), the middle (Ahsoka/New Republic Movie) and the end (Rey movie).

Then my kids might get a fresh new Star Wars afterwards for next generations as they will make the disjointed mess a circle.

Lucas wanted to get to the source and go big. So even if it goes by sluggish pace now and scratches the surface here and there, I see this as a huge opportunity and pay off to round up the stories and lessen the burden of Skywalkers they carry on the whole saga.

Wrong thread I guess but so what shows are next and when? I'll check out Skeleton Key because it's star wars but I have no interest at all in a kids adventure show

Skeleton Crew should be next, probably December/January-ish. Also, it is not a "Kid's show" Filoni, Favreau and I think Jon Waters have all stated that just because it is about children does not mean it is a children's show. It's supposed to fit right into this Era and have crossover characters and events.

The only other new Star Wars TV in the pipe would be the rest of Young Jedi Adventures, but that truly is a kid's show and it is great.
Bunches of books and such on the way...
