Obviously, the title explains itself. Do what you're gonna do.

This is from MSW and it has some interesting tidbits. Hayden coming back, The World Between Worlds POV, and a different actress for a younger Ahsoka.

World between worlds, so time travel will invade live-action Star Wars mythos?

Time-travel has become an over used film trope over the years. It must be used in a clever way, these days, to remain relevant.

Kylo Ren can subsequently enter the world between worlds and prevent Vader from throwing Palpatine over the chasm, or OB1 can prevent the murder of Mace Windu in an instant.

Who will govern the use of the world between worlds? Anything can happen, canon is fractured forever. I wish I used better examples, but I hope my point was well taken.

I'd really like to know Jason Ward's point of view on WBW. I've been following him for quite some time. He is a true Star Wars patriot who was rundown on these boards a few years ago which is sad, to say the least.

True. I'd need to go back to that episode of Rebels. But wasn't that portal closed by Ezra and Ahsoka? (Not sure I remember.) So others couldn't access it.
Also, I remember not being sure how I felt about Ahsoka surviving the Vader duel. Sure I was happy that the character did but it felt weird. If that's the right word to use.

I don't recall, but closing off the portal would be the right thing to do, I must revisit that episode as well... LOL. I remember watching some pundit on youtube that said time travel in Star Wars would ruin the franchise or some other.

I remember it disappearing but there must be another access if Ahsoka is seeing these things or if it was off-screen during the episode. Which wouldn't make sense. Although these things could have been going on while they were there.

They need someone of Heimdall's caliber to guard the entry into the world between worlds to prevent utter disaster and chaos. As a huge Rebels fan its been a while since I revisited the series but this would be something to look into.

The upcoming Ahsoka series is one of my most anticipated ( The Acolyte too) for that very reason.

Filoni did a great job with the series, I never viewed it just for kids, as many have constantly mentioned, and it got better as the seasons progressed. He is no longer GLs padawan but a fully fledged Jedi knight.

I am with @Rogues1138 on this, truly hope WBW is not taken to the extreme of permanently changing canon, etc.

As much as I am eager to see this show because I loved Rebels and I have fate in Filoni, my greatest fear is that it will destroy the complexity of Thrawn's character (as depicted by Zhan) to put Ahsoka over and that he will remain one-dimensional villain whose only purpose is to be killed at the end.

If true, the appearance of World Between Worlds in live action is intriguing to me.

That is a good point. With TV series having limited time and space to play around with, we could easily end up with a situation where Thrawn is diminished to a conflict generating villain only, the bad-guy of the season that we need to defeat. Now, I don't think that is going to happen, but it is certainly a concern.

On a positive note, Andor recently did a good job highlighting both sides of the conflict, with character growth in either camp. (Almost reminiscent of The Wire's juxtaposition of the cops and the criminals fully-developed storylines). One can only hope that something similar is achieved i Ahsoka :)

Its Dave Filoni transitioning to live action Thrawn will be handled accordingly, in the correct manner I believe.

My over-the-top excitement comes from the belief that Filoni will use his live-action format to fully embrace the complexity of Thrawn (as depicted by Zhan) in a way that was never possible in animation.

Not often do we see characters fleshed out on screen as completely as we do in novels. Zhan really went to work slowly peeling back the many layers of Thrawn but he had THREE novels in which to work. No way Thrawn will be as complex on screen as he is in the novels IMO. I'm sure we'll get to see.....
    1. His brilliant military tactics in full effect.
    2. Ysalamiri.
    3. His extravagant art collection.

Well, I am almost positive we will not see Ysalamiri - Lucas disapproved and Filoni agrees - there should exist nothing that can disrupt the Force. They could potentially be exotic pets (in Rebels we saw them as art), but they will certainly not have their Legends abilities.

Shame to hear. Ysalamari are.... extremely, rare.

IIRC: In one of the Maul novels, the Iridonian Zabrak had quite a battle with one of those in the bowels of Corsucant, or maybe it was the prison Cog Hive Seven?
