@GreyLo hey I expected Rey/Finn and had no idea what Ren even looked like! I was kind of shaking my head and asking myself if I was seeing things.

 

Zeroh never claims 100% "confirmed".

 

I'd also like to add, that interrogation scene has something many people miss that was shown quite clearly when he removes his mask. He is Han's son yes, but he is also Leia's son. Like J.J said, he his princely looking. It makes me wonder how he was actually raised.

 

You would be surprised to know that they took my lines out of context and added them sexual inuendos on some other forums as well where my name was Kylo Ren.

Such great visual imagery. I saw that...and knew i wanna see the movie. I honestly didnt give a damn about a sweaty stormtrooper in white even if i was convinced at that time that he is the new fs hero.

Stranges coincidences between KOTOR and TFA...

 

SWTOR continues the story with Revan's ghost/spirit being torn in two. Truly sad fate for that man.

However yes, that was the first comparison I saw.

 

I hate Reylo (yes I know what it leads to) but even I have to admit it looks very similar to.... uhhhh... RevBat? ShaVan??

But Revan is a tragic charachter. I dont want more tragedy. I need hope.

Its not sex part that attracts the most people who want ReyLo. Thats only what men see.
Its the balance. And belongment. Complete understanding of two equals that are so similar that they understand eachother but so opposite that they excite and challenge eachother. Yin and Yang stuff. The myth lol.

I was watching some old interviews, and not only did they stray away from Lucas's twin idea, but they said Kylo is a character we have never seen before in SW. That means he is not Anakin, Revan, etc... and that leads me to believe he'll be the first dark side character to return to the light and live.

 

Im probably reading too much into a sw quote but...
As long as there's light we've got a chance...

 

The thing about Kylo is, he was born on the light side with a light side family. Take Snoke out of the equation and Ben could have been the first "Gray" Jedi. He was interested in the dark side, but would not have turned completely if circumstances had been different. However, his childhood could not have been that terrible if there's still good in him and a part of him wants to return home. Like Luke, he is lost, hiding from himself and unsure of anything but his current goal he is focused on (finish what Vader started). Just like Luke seems to be trying to end the Jedi of old. That's where Rey comes in, likely guiding both Skywalker men back to the light.

 

What's Anakin's legacy? To bring the balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness.

The way I see Kylo's charachter....where he is right now and what he does...was a CHOICE. Conscious one. It was not a mental breakdown. I am sure that his abandonment issues and lonelyness and Snoke's intrusion had influenced his choice. But I refuse to believe his motives are solely himself and his selfcentredness.
And yes...he is lost. And probably loses his moral compass often. Or just strip it down to bare necessities.
In a world where principles are bartered with by ALL sides its hard to do the right thing.

What IS the thing that Kylo wants the most in TFA?
To get the map.
Why? Everyone asumes it is to get to Luke so he can destroy him? But is it so?
Seemed to me getting that map is more important to him than killing of Luke. Otherwise he would welcome the SKB firing of the resistance base to kill off BB-8 and destroy every chance of finding the map.
Perhaps his agenda is NOT to get to Luke but rather to get to that island. And the first Je'daii temple.

saying "I will finish... what you started" whilst looking at vader's mask was genius, absolute genius.

once this trilogy plays out it will be painfully obvious what he meant... but at the moment it can be so many things from extreme ends of the scale of light to dark.

I do believe that he has an agenda that is at the least... grey in color and not dark. something is driving him, and it's not Snoke.. and i don't think he cares less about the FO or the republic. The second Snoke orders something that counters Ben's agenda.. i think there will be fireworks and a lot of changes.

Yeah! The mask is awesome. Goes so well with the scar. Only...am not too sure about the cape. I so much more loved the hoodie. I *want* that hoodie almost as much as I want a Darksaber. I would do quite a lot for it too. But the cape....dammit...I just....dont dig it. But am trying to keep positive....it is....dark.
